Soft hair but darkened it

My highlights that I paid $200 for are gone. My hair is brown now after using this once, instead of golden dark blonde. I’m hoping it “changes back” after my next wash using my regular shampoo, but I’m really upset. I used a sample that came in my shipment yesterday.

I’ve tried falsies several times in the past with no success. It’s just not a strong point for me. I was able to get these on today with no issues though. The curve and strong band made it super easy. I’ll get some shorter ones for daily use since I’m new to lashes and am not used to having them look so long, and will be buying the same brand. Absolutely love these.
