Beauty Product Reviews

Unisex, clean yet robust

The name of this pulled me in-- even now as I smell it, I can't pin the notes down. It has a clean laundry smell to it, but there is some spice and and aquatic element, as well. Maybe some woods. I tend to dislike a lot of aquatic fragrances as they are sort of grating, but this is very well-rounded. The gel is pretty potent, so one pump should be all you need. I don't like overly feminine perfumes, so this is a great match for me. Excellent to keep on your bag.

Smooth sheen

I really love this. I use it in place of a powder highlighter, and it's subtle enough that you could use it without other color complexion products. The doe foot applicator is ok to me, but a pump would be better. I don't think it's THAT heavy, but as others say, it doesn't feel travel-ready-- which is a shame, because it's an excellent product for travel. The product is very versatile.

I told myself I wouldn't spend 32 bucks on dry shampoo...

...but Beautylish sent me a sample of this stuff with my last order and I am absolutely buying the full size at some point. I love the smell (kind of fig tree/sandalwood-eqsue), and it's completely invisible in my dark hair. It doesn't make my hair look clean per se, but it gets rid of that 3rd day grime and puts some volume back in. I've used a lot of dry shampoos, but I think this is my favorite.
