functional, but comes with headaches

I got this to replace my old shower cap. I didn't realize this was a different kind of design until I opened it. I saw how this could actually be a genius design for a shower cap, as it seemed to give a little more control on head/hair coverage. I was excited to give it a try. Number 1 issue: the elastic that goes around the head is so unbearably tight. I have used this a few times now and every single time I wear it, I get a pounding headache. Within minutes of putting it on. I love the quality of it. its certainly seems quite sturdy and the inside lining is perfect. I feel if they worked on the design a little bit more, this would be great. Another issue I found is, it didn't really fix the issue of my hair slipping out in the back. I have the same issue with my original one and thought this design would allow me to fix that issue, but I guess after twisting it shut, it still causes the same issue and the hair comes out still. It functionally works for the bulk of my head, just not those back hairs that like escaping I guess. Over all, functional and does its job. the headaches aren't fun though.

Really good surprise bag

I got 6 items. If you do not wish to see or read any spoilers - stop now. Quick take is that it's worth the buy. On to spoilers - I received the Gold Blooded Palette, Pink Cashmere Setting Powder, The Gloss - Shockwave, Liquid Lip Balm - Celebrity Skin, Liquid Blush - Ice Cream BLVD, and the Wake Your Face Up Caffeine Facial Spray. All around really good surprise bag.

is this a joke?

I really am speechless. I am so disappointed and mad. Lucky bags used to be a huge deal. I have always looked forward to these and the past few years it's really gone down hill. 2023 we started to see MUCH less items, we got 7 items (compared to 11 or 13 items). We paid 89.69. I chose to continue to get them because the worth was still somewhat there. In 2024, same amount of items (7) for 94.69. Annoyed, but prices everywhere went up so of course they followed suit. This year, same price - now 6 items?? Seriously?? People REALLY look forward to these boxes. They come around only once a year and it really used to be true to the name. People make unboxing videos for spoilers for these! The worth is not here on this one and it's a mega flop that isn't worth it. The whole point of mystery boxes, is to save money and have a little thrill of not knowing what you are going to get. Years ago when I first starting buying these, each item would cost a few bucks (around $6-$8 per item). This bag is around $15 per item. The only reason there is an any amount of savings is because of the palette. I got the Scorpio palette which retails for $62. I also got the magic star glow face mist (retail: $26), Translucent setting powder (R: $22), Wet Peach Gloss (R: $20), Dominatrix milky liquid lip balm (R: $20), and Money Shot Liquid Blush (R: $26). With a savings of $15.78 per item, it's a hard pill to swallow when I was getting 13 or 11 items for less money. This is absolutely shameful. While there still is something of a savings with these, its no where near where they used to be and now we are seeing less items. I am actually disgusted I spent money on this.

Love it

I have ordered a few of these now and will continue to for as long as it is available. I love how it makes my hair feel and greatly helps with my frizz as well. I have used it on both wet and dry hair and both results were great. I do try to make sure I dry my hair as I find I get the best results. I definitely recommend this product and really wish it came in a bigger bottle. it's pricy but definitely worth it.

I give it an A

I originally got this as a sample from a recent order. I really liked how it tamed my frizz so decided to order the full size seeing as though my normal hair oil I use, was about to run out. I wouldn't say this left my hair silky smooth, which is typically what I ideally go for, but it got pretty close and tamed all the frizz which I was very happy with.

great formula, but pricy for so little product

I absolutely love this formula. I love the smell. Though I wouldn't say it smells like coffee, I get more of a cocoa-butter scent. Which I don't mind at all and actually really love. The ONLY con to this, is the size and cost. I would probably happily pay $10 (at most) for this amount. As much as I want to reorder another one (I just finished mine), I truly cant justify paying so much for so little.

Not sure I see a difference

I’ve used this a few times now and don’t think I see much of a difference. The smell isn’t overwhelming which I do appreciate for obvious reasons. The first time I used this I was a little hesitant on using a fair amount of the product as I wasn’t sure what the result would be, nothing happened and the next time I used it I was generous with the amount I used and still nothing seems any different. I’ll continue to use until it’s out but for now, it’s not doing anything at all and certainly nothing that’s worthy of the price tag. I’m about half done with the bottle and I’ve only used it 2x.

Not what I expected..

after using this a few times now I can safely determine that I am wildly disappointed I spent money on this. The color pay off isn't there at all. I honestly have gotten better results using a cheap drug store brand. While I got this on sale (and got another as well) I am mad I even spent the sale price on this. I can not by any means recommend this product at all. I tried using primer and without and both ways resulted in total disappointment. I wish I could get my money back for this. Not what you would expect from a brand that charges this much. I was thinking this was a top brand for makeup and I will never try this brand again.

its okay

I had high hopes for this palette given the brand. Since it was on sale, I decided to try it out and I have to say I am disappointed. It's much smaller than I thought it would be and the formula isn't any better than other brands I have used. While the pans are fair size, for the price I was expecting a formula I had never come across before. For the same quality formula, my go to brand offers way more shades, and is cheaper. While it certainly is a good formula, you can find the same quality for way cheaper.

MUST HAVE ITEM!

I got this after using the lavender one for some time. I loved it and it was much better than the cleanser I had been using so I stuck with it. When I saw the charcoal one, I was generally curious and decided to give it a try. Well...it was significantly better. It got 99% of the stains out of my sponge just in one soak and rinse. It works well for brushes too. This is now my go to cleanser for brushes and sponges. I HIGHLY recommend this product. I wouldn't be surprised if I washed and really got the soap in it this time, that it would get the minor stains left behind. this is definitely a win.
