a dream for targeted concealer

I love using this brush for more precise application of concealer. I use it to apply foundation on top of my brows, use it the thin way for concealer highlight down my nose, and coverage around my nose and lips. I use it also to diffuse edges for spot concealing. I have always used small shader brushes for these jobs, but this one fits the bill. I like the firmness for these areas compared to the SG soft concealer. Getting a second. Love the Jumbo Worker for fast under eye concealer too.

Obsessed

I own 4 of these lipsticks. Wild Rose, Cinnabar, Amberlight and Rococco. I plan to buy Marsala and Rosewood next. I think they look darker in these pictures. Maybe I just apply them lighter though. They are really pigmented so a little goes a long way. I find it harder to find flattering shades that are nude-ish in my 40's, somehow they have figured out the magic combination to make so many of these shades look just right.

My go to!!

Do you own way too many lip moisturizers?? Me too! I have Hempz, Aquaphor Lip repair, Lucas Pawpaw, Laneige, Patrick Ta, Pat McGrath and on and on. I do like Nutritic by La Roche-Posay as it feels like it hydrates my lips without being sticky. However when I went to use this and hit the plastic, I was shocked as I don't think I've hit "pan" in other chapsticks and it's cheaper than the Nutritic. However this one is scented (which I don't mind) and Nutritic is not. I didn't realize I used it so much but my empty tube speaks for itself, now I'm back to buy enough that I won't run out.

Good quality

James Molloy creator of MYKITCO. has some really quality brushes. I have 5 now, and plan for more. If you ever watch Danessa Myricks on IG you'll notice she only uses his brushes. This specific brush is natural hair, and can be used for the eye or face. Large for the eye but can be used for a quick sweep of base shadow. It can be used for the under eye area or as a highlight brush. I use it a lot to set my t-zone. It fluffs almost double it's size once used/washed. Truly a multi use brush. Not as soft as Fude brushes, but more dense than most of them. Definitely better than other alternatives out there.

Wanted to love it.

First off I love Koyudo brushes. I was a little hesitant after reading reviews that their Christmas sets the past few years have been disappointing. Still the ombre handles sucked me in. This is the only makeup brush(es) I have ever returned. The baby pink handles have a little pink glitter which is very lovely. However the only useful brush is the pony eyeshadow one. I couldn't justify keeping the set for just the one. So I returned it to use the credit to buy the rest of the Kakishibuzome series. The eye brushes are everything. Check them out :)

not ideal for foundation

As a makeup artist, I own about 200 makeup brushes, from high to low end. I was looking for a natural Japanese brush to replace my personal Zoeva stippling brush for cream and liquid foundation. I decided to go with this based on reviews. This brush is far too dense and sheers foundation out too much for anyone requiring medium to full coverage. As a powder brush I think unless you are buffing powders into the skin it's not very ideal either. Overall too much money, the quality is there but the functionality is lacking. Im returning, I'm going to try the new Sonia G brushes once available.

Pleasantly surprised!!

I own Sonia G and Chikuhodo brushes and bought this little gem as a gift idea for someone else. I ended up keeping it for myself because I was impressed with how lovely and intensely it applied shadow to my lid, especially shimmers. It applies them more pigmented than my Chikuhodo Z-5 and is on par with the softness and quality of my other Japanese brushes. I found it to work better than the Smith Cosmetics large arrowhead brush I was presently using on my lid. I am considering still getting another for myself as I like using it for applying highlight under my brow as well. I got another one for my friend and plan to get more as gifts.
