Finally a Setting Powder I Can Use!

Let me say that I never use setting powders because I have dry skin, I have texture, and I have under eye wrinkles. I have used Laura Mercier and Cover FX a lot in the past, and I would look great in photos, but in person I looked like a powder cake! I gave up on setting powders until I impulse bought this JSC powder together with the blue blood palette. I'm so glad I did! It gave me such an airbrushed finish, did not emphasize all the dryness and texture on my face. It is so finely milled, it worked well with my shape tape concealer and supergoop bb cream, as well as my powder blushes and highlighters. The candy smell was off-putting at first because I have very sensitive skin, but I looked at the ingredients again and there was NO fragrance/parfum. My skin was fine. I'm so glad I gave this a shot! I cannot speak to the container because I have not taken this to travel.

Non-drying, pigmented enough for a gloss

My complexion is light-medium with peach undertone and the best colors for me are rodeo and maiden lane. "Rodeo" is a pretty color that looks natural, but still makes you look made-up. I use this for my no make-up days. "Maiden lane" I use to tone down my lips for my bright-eye-look days when I don't feel like doing all the prep for a liquid lip. Both have good formulas, that makes my lips juicy, but not overdone. Also, I love that my lips don't feel dry after (which I struggle with SO MANY products).

I wear this alone because it is pigmented enough that it covers most lipsticks I lay down before it. Although application is easy, it can sometimes bleed outside the lines if I'm not careful, but this can be easily fixed by wiping off or using a lip liner. I got these on sale for $8 and grabbed 5 shades! "PCH" and "Sloane" were too light for me and washed me out a bit, but they still have a place in my collection. "Broadway" I haven't tried yet. I'm saving that for fall!

Beautiful application, very flattering shades

I used to hate liquid lipsticks because I personally have difficulty applying them, they can get messy, and they dry out my lips TOO much. I took a chance with JSC because everyone raves about them, and the colors looked wearable. These liquid lips were very comfortable, beautiful shades, and I loved the applicator! Would definitely purchase again once I run out. I might get different colors too!
