Incredible shade

I recently purchased Very Victoria after having my eye on it for a few months. It is safe to say I regret not purchasing this earlier. With all honesty I have found my MLBB shade. With one swipe, it looks like my lip colour but slightly enhanced. It is hard to describe but as you keep adding it looks like a slightly darker, enhanced version of your natural lip colour, the kind I've searched years for. It translates into a lovely pinky taupe, almost cool rose with the slightest hint of brown. It really is my perfect colour.

For reference my skin tone is a light-medium olive, around C3/C30. It has been likened to MAC Velvet Teddy, and I do think it depends on your skin tone and lip colour, but on me MAC Velvet Teddy has a bit more brown and is darker than Very Victoria. The formula for VV is also more satin than true matte (which I prefer) and it is very comfortable to wear and reapply.

I also own Pillow Talk Medium and find it is a very beautiful shade as well, a bit darker than this one on me, and a bit more dark berry and brown. I find the formula for PT Medium to be a bit more matte than Very Victoria. Lipsticks are my favourite beauty product and Charlotte Tilbury does live up to the hype and the luxury. Could not recommend Very Victoria more.

Smooth application, beautiful colour

This is a such a great complementary eye stick for my medium olive skin tone. My skin is neutral and slightly warm with olive undertones. I find that this olive pencil really brings out the warmth in my brown eyes. It has a touch of bronze and gold as it shimmers. The pencil itself does not tug on the eye lid and applies very smooth, very high quality. I can blend it out if I want right after application or I’ll draw a thick wing and both will last the day. I usually wear this alone on my eye lid or with an inner corner highlight and it’s so multidimensional that it looks gorgeous as a one-and-done shade. This shade isn’t stocked in my country so I’m very grateful I can purchase this through Beautylish.

Daily makeup pouch

This is a fantastic little makeup bag for all the things I use daily. I just leave this in my bedroom and take it to the bathroom every day. I haven’t traveled with it yet but it is the perfect size for travel and feels very sturdy and high quality. I’ve attached a photo with my products in there so you can see the size of the pouch in comparison to the products. It fits absolutely everything I need for my daily face products. I love the clear window and the cute brush logo. It is simple yet perfection.

Gorgeous olive shade

I discovered Cover FX and their line of products due to their olive shades so I immediately bought this pressed foundation and the corresponding shade in the Power Play concealer. They have nailed the olive undertones which is quite rare still for many lines.

I am very impressed with this formulation, it matches my medium olive skin perfectly, doesn’t turn orange throughout the day and it is buildable. It definitely applies sheer therefore looks natural but it can be built up. It evens out my skin tone and redness. I use the concealer on blemishes and then a light wash of this over the top and my base is done. It feels light, controls my oil throughout the day but can get dewy towards the end of the day (which I quite like). I’m happy with this over liquid foundations and highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick application that evens out skin tone. Great value for money as I’ve barely made a dent in this compact after 2 months.

I would liken this to the MAC Studio Fix Powder (I use C35) another of my favourites.
