Beauty Product Reviews

Very nice at first

When I first put it on, it's very light, glowy and had a great setting effect. Later on, it doesn't look so great on my 38-year-old wrinkles. Perhaps because I have old combo skin which doesn't agree with many products. Overall, I like it.

Per-fing-ection

Not a bad shade in this group. Favorites include Pale in Comparison, Pulp Addiction, Unblunted, Glimmer of Hope—the gold is magical. These shades alone make it worth it and there are 14 more. Timing-wise, for the Fall, I could have gone with more oranges/browns and less red (I'm allergic), but they're beautiful. The palette is like a little round purse... fits perfectly in your lap. Large high quality mirror, handle is cute. No regrets!

Amazing color and formula

If you like Hidden Hills, Celebrity Skin, Christmas Cookie, this is the color for you. The gloss is shiny, not too sticky, pigmented, great smell. The only thing I don't like is the applicator... I'm left-handed.

Incredible

This not only matches absolutely perfectly, it doesn't smell like mosquito repellent (coughSHAPETAPEcough) and has amazing lasting coverage. No lines, no dryness. I have sensitive skin and am randomly oily... this concealer does well with my moody complexion. I've used it as a light foundation as well because it has such amazing staying power and keep going back to it. I wish I could refill. Can't convince myself to throw away the beautiful bottles...

Getting better at it - love the brush

At first, it was applying badly (clumpy and not separating) and pretty much all I liked about it was the packaging and the fact I felt like a badass Bee wearing it. It has staying power as promised, but definitely if you wear it a long time-overnight like I did, it flakes off into your eye like glass. I LOVE how it covers the lower lashes. It does NOT do well with a second coat. My advice: Don't try it. The second and third time I applied it, it was less goopy and I like it more than I did the first time. -1 star for the flake, minus 1 star for not being absolutely amazing.

omgerrrrrd

So good. I spur of the moment changed my initial choice from Sorcery to Wizards Glass and I'm not regretting it one bit. The bronze is so good. Calms and moisturizes all his bold VLLs. There is a lot of product here, not sticky, and it lasts. I couldn't ask for more. Actually I could ask for more. Gloss. Wish I could afford all 5.

These work well but I'll only use them to remove my makeup before a shower

Because they are effective but very oily on the skin. I'm not a die hard coconut oil fan. Was thinking about returning them but I think I'll regret it because they are so convenient in their individually wrapped packages.

As promised, it is hydrating

Hydrating but it doesn't melt your makeup off. Does wonders for foundation that is harsh or thick/full coverage as well. This is the first primer I've actually enjoyed and felt good about putting on my skin. Other primers are drying and feel like plastic.

Gorgeous highlighter for the cheeks

It goes on beautifully, has a beautiful shine, and has staying power. No complaints. I don't want something that is over the top, so I was not disappointed.

Huge brush and not enough time to work the lashes

For the expense, this mascara is not worth the price. The brush is *the scream emoji* huge and its bulk makes it hard to use... which, if the mascara itself gave you time to work, wouldn't be a problem. But it clumps up quickly. To be fair, I haven't worked with enough waterproof mascaras. I bought it on Tati's recommendation and she usually doesn't steer me wrong. 2 stars and not one because it DOES have staying power. If that's what you're looking for and have money to spend, go for it.
