The colors in this palette were a hit or miss for me. Most of them were good everyday colors—heaven and cashmere bunny are my favorites. A few of them were a little too shimmery, like the chocolate martini and erotica. Overall though, I like having this palette and use it almost everyday.
Cutest little brush
First of all, this brush is so cute and girly, how could I not buy it? I love the pink handle and the little black bow. And not only is it cute, but it's a great powder brush. My friend and I both bought ours a few years ago, and we still have the same ones! The bristles are super soft and great for applying setting powder daily.
Love this
I absolutely love this product! My skin is oily, especially in the T-zone, and I am currently using a liquid foundation. When I apply this setting powder, it absorbs the oil on my face, without making me look chalky or too pale. I only wish Cover FX made this powder in a compact form, or a travel size because it is too big to carry around in my bag and can get a little messy at times.
Good coverage for a pressed foundation
After having used several other pressed foundations, I tried this one because I was told it provided MAC coverage, while still being good for my skin. I am very oily and acne-prone, so I sometimes have a hard time with liquid foundations. The reason I ultimately go back to using liquid, though, is because the coverage is always better than powder. However, this foundation provides good coverage, as far as pressed foundations go. It also absorbed oil on my face and did not make me break out.
Great Acne Coverage
I purchased this concealer along with the Cover FX powder foundation when I broke out really badly on my cheeks last year. It worked really well, and I would say it is probably the best concealer I have ever used. I also love that it is vegan and oil-free, which is a must for acne-prone skin. My skin has since cleared up, so I no longer use concealer in my daily routine, but I would definitely recommend this to others!
