Beauty Product Reviews

Best texture

I love matte lipstick & partly for its staying power. This has good staying power but it's not as impressive as I had hoped or expected from KA's wonderful line. The "moisturizing" aspect is a tip-off & serves to make the texture smooth like a thick balm but with high pigmentation. It's build-able, too. If you're looking for good coverage with moisture, this is IT.

Bloodroses looks nearly black in the tube but for me is the prefect blend of plum & wine. I can make it look goth-y or dab it with my finger & it looks like a lovely stain.

On star off for for average longevity.

Lives up to great reviews.

I am not a blush person (I have fair skin and black hair, blue-gray eyes, blusher tends to make me look too made-up). But give me a multi use product & I'm all over it. I read "lip stain" in one review and it was all over for me (I love me a lip product that stays on more than 10 minutes). The pink shades are gorgeous but I am NOT, repeat - NOT going to wear pink on my lips. I like a rosy-brown color on my lips and I'll wear whatever is convenient on my cheeks if I need some color there. Tresbelle looked like it would work so I ordered it. But wait, what if it IS rosy-brown and I already have Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks in Blushed Rose? Tresbelle has more pink in it so the color is definitely not a dupe but definitely works on me. In fact, it's a natural looking pink on me (I know, the description say peach but it's pink on me). And it's creamy matte, so it looks natural on cheeks and lips and . . . it stays put. This one's a keeper. I might even try Patrice . . .

Good start!

I have been researching this line for awhile and really want to try it out. It is not the best idea in the world to choose foundation product on-line but I thought i'd give it a try. I looked at swatches here on Beautylish, on RCMA website, and I think on another, as well. The KO-1 is slightly darker than I usually use but darn close enough. It really does blend beautifully & I am excited to experiment with it.

Luscious!

I don't know why this high-end eyeshadow should be any better than other high-end eyeshadows but it is: Velvet-y soft, deeply pigmented, good staying power, and they work well wet, too.

I am also very pleased with this color palette as my first CT eyeshadow palette even though there is nothing "Golden Goddess" about me: Very fair, black hair, and gray/blue eyes. Sophisticate or Uptown Girl (?) will be my next palette.

Truly long lasting

I insist on long lasting & am something of an expert at this point. THIS is long lasting & truly matte (not mostly matte, truly matte). Also, the color photo with the model was accurate. Though I must add the color looks better on me, lol.
