This is a really really nice mascara, it is thickening, lengthening, and buildable. It's not technically waterproof, but is very long-wearing and smudge resistant. It's also comfortable to wear, and doesn't feel stiff or flake off even after a long day, and is easy to remove. It's my go-to mascara for anything but a really-needs-waterproof day.

I love the brush shape for my top lashes, very similar to Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I will say I still struggle a little bit getting it on my teeny bottom lashes without getting some on my lower eyelid, but I do have that problem with almost all mascaras except ones with the skinniest tiniest brushes.

Mascara is also where the refillable packaging comes in super handy, because you really should be replacing your mascara every 3-6 months. I love that it is so easy to just grab a new refill and switch them out, it's actually so satisfying to click it in there! This is the standard all brands should be aspiring to, to reduce waste as much as possible, and every detail has been so well thought out by Mob Beauty raising the bar with everything they do.

So Beautifully Shiny

I have the clear shade M53, which does have a tiny bit of shimmer but it's not really noticeable. What you do notice is how shiny the formula is on the lips, it's beautiful and makes me think of these as a lip balm and lip gloss hybrid. It's a bit hard to describe the texture, it's not very oily and not very waxy like other lip balms, it's comfortable but you know it's there, it's maybe right on the edge of what I would describe as sticky but not in a super tacky way.

The lip balm has a mild minty smell which is refreshing and cooling on the lips, not tingly or painful, but the taste is not minty if you lick it (don't lick it, it's not a very good taste). It's definitely very hydrating, and feels really nice especially when my lips are dry and peely (it's been a rough winter).

As with all Mob products, I love that they are refillable, and the Lip Balm fits in the same capsule as the lipsticks. The only downside is that it's hard to tell them apart if you have more than one capsule, you do have to open it to see the shade (either from the color of the lipstick itself or the name printed on the side of the refill). But the refills do come with a teeny cap for shipping, so you could also save those little caps and just get one capsule to switch out whichever lippie refill you are gonna carry with you for the day.

Easy to use and gentle on eyes

The Mob Beauty Cake Liners are my first experience with cake liners, and now I understand why people love cake liner so much. They are quite easy to apply, and very forgiving to clean up and perfect if you make a mistake. A damp q-tip can go a long way. After switching from gel liner in a pot to liquid liner pens, I wasn't sure how I would feel about switching back to applying liner with a separate brush, but really the hardest part is walking back to the sink to re-wet the brush, which I usually have to do after finishing one eye and starting the other. It doesn't skip like gel liner, though, it applies smooth and opaque and you can't feel it on your eye at all, it is so comfortable!

I have the midnight blue (M89) and plum garnet (M101), and I will say that the colors can look different depending on what eyeshadow I am wearing with them. I am fair with cool undertones, so sometimes the blue looks pretty close to black, but blues will make it pop and appear more blue. With the plum garnet, it can look like a warm brown, or will look more red with other redder toned shadows.

It is not a waterproof liner, so if my eyes are watering and I rub them it will start to smear and come off, but with most normal wear it lasts all day. I also have hooded eyes and it doesn't transfer onto my top lid, which would have been a deal-breaker.

A great product, and I will definitely repurchase and refill my palette, another wonderful feature of this brand! One thing to note when putting your refill into a palette, the refill pans of these do have one side that is shaped a little flatter and one that is rounder, so they only fit side-by-side a certain way. If it's not fitting, try turning it around so the round sides are on the edges and the flat side is in the middle.

Thank you Mob Beauty, can't wait to see what other colors you come up with!

Holy Color Payoff, Batman!

This is a really nice formula that's really easy to apply for a big color payoff! A very thin application still gives a lot of color, and of course you can build it up for even more brightness, which is usually pretty hard to achieve with a pastel shade. It stays a very comfortable finish, and you can apply other shadow over them easily without it flaking or coming off.

Fair warning, on my oily eyelids they will crease if not set with anything, but if I use a primer underneath and set with setting powder, these stay put for many hours and only end up creasing a tiny bit by the end of the day. Definitely still worth it to me!

Highly Recommend

I love these pencils, they are so beautiful and easy to use, they also are very long lasting and don't smudge. My favorite color is Jade, on my fair skin I can see the shift between brown and light green, and it has good color payoff. I also apply it over black eyeliner and it becomes a beautiful metallic teal, it's just stunning!

Some of the lighter shades like Lilac Quartz do not show very well just by themselves on my skintone, but still add gorgeous dimension over black liner.

Perfect Companion to Keyaki Set

I got this brush case specifically for my Keyaki Set, and they fit so well! This is definitely not a case that is made to hold as many brushes as possible, I think if I had 6 face brushes in it I would have a hard time closing it, but I really like it to keep a curated small set of brushes in a case that is sleek and beautiful. The material doesn't get dirty easily, and it is really well made. It's probably not for everyone, but I love having a special place just for my beloved Keyaki set.

So useful

I wanted to get this microfiber towel for traveling because I thought it would be handy to be able to spot clean when I didn't have all my normal cleaning supplies, and could also reduce the number of brushes I felt like I needed to bring. I was amazed how much product the towel removes from brushes without any cleanser at all! I could especially tell on some of my white bristle brushes, because they looked so bright. I was able to use the same brush for deepening the crease with a dark shade and then once I brushed it on the towel, it was ready again to help blend my browbone highlight without muddying it up.

I admit, I used to "brush off" extra product on the palm of my hand, but that deposits oils from my skin onto the bristles and also got my hands messy, this is a much better option. I will use this at home as well as traveling, such a useful item!

The printed material also feels so lovely, and I love the cute bunnies. Now I want both colors!

I really like this brow pen! I have tried almost every kind of brow pencil, gel, pomade, and powder, but I find it very hard to get a hair-like look, and usually end up with a filled in brow shape. I feel like this is the first brow product that I can actually get a more natural look of hairs with.

I have two shades, Soft Brown and Dark Brown. Soft brown matches my natural brow color really well and blends in super well, it's great for filling in most of the brow. I've seen some other brow pens that turn really red, these stay a nice true color.

Once I do most of the filling with the Soft Brown, I go back with Dark Brown and do some more spaced out hairs to give more definition. I follow the direction for the hairs that I see people use with microblading, and I think it looks pretty natural. I find that holding the pen perpendicular to my skin and just using the very tip to start at the base of my brow and flick upwards makes a very clean thin stroke.

These are also very long lasting on the skin but not too hard to remove. I'm so happy I gave them a chance!

My Oily-Combination Skin Loves This Oil

My skin is so happy since I started using this oil. I'm not very sensitive, but my skin is easily congested and as I'm getting older, sometimes I have a little more redness than I used to from my regular exfoliation. This oil is so soothing and calming with the Blue Tansy, but not heavy and keeps my skin feeling balanced. The only other product with Blue Tansy I've tried was May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon, and it was way too heavy for my skin.

The smell is also amaaaazing, not too strong and doesn't linger, but it's really a joy to apply. It looks like a very dark blue color in the bottle, (or sometimes leans a little greener depending on the batch and the natural variation of the ingredients) and even the drops in my hand have a blue tint, but it is totally clear on my face. I'm quite fair so oils like Sea Buckthorn I cannot use during the day without looking orange, but Lapis doesn't do that at all.

Even oily skin needs hydration to stay balanced and not over-produce oil, this is absolutely my recommendation for oilier folks looking to incorporate a facial oil. And it comes in a convenient small size too so you can make sure it's the one without investing in the big bottle right away, I wish more companies did that!

Using this with the Instant Cleansing Balm is a game changer.

These are amazing and really do work to remove makeup gently and easily. I have tried them just with water and they definitely work but I found the stains were pretty hard to remove out of the cleansing mitt. However, they really shine when used with a cleansing balm!

I have been a cleansing balm devotee for several years now, and really swear by them for removing makeup the best. The one thing I didn't like about them is rinsing them off in the sink. It usually takes 3-4 passes of splashing water on my face before I feel like the balm has fully rinsed away, and the whole time the water is also dripping down my arms onto the counter and floor and basically everywhere.

With the mitt, after I have applied the cleansing balm and rubbed it in over my dry skin enough that I see most of the makeup is breaking down, I just dampen the mitt and swipe it over my face, and everything is gone in one swipe. Gone! I usually turn the mitt around and go over once more with the other side just to be thorough, but I really don't even think that is necessary. When I rinse it out it's barely stained, and then I hang it to dry with the little loop/tag and move on with my skincare. No extra rinsing or even double cleansing needed.

After the first use, the fuzziness of the material looks a little more stuck together, just like anything fuzzy does over time, but it doesn't affect the way it works at all so it doesn't bother me. They also fit well on my hand, I just spread my fingers out a little as I use it and it doesn't fall off or slide around over my hand.

You might as well get the multipack because you're never going to want to go another day without one!
