Jeffree Star Cosmetics F*ck Proof Mascara

SO BUMMED.

I was SO excited for this mascara. I have fine sparse lashes that are medium length and blonde at the ends. I've been obsessed with NYC On The Rise mascara. I don't like wet formulas, it takes too much to make it work so OTR works great. I was happy to see that JSCFP was a thicker formula. It didn't clump as much as it looked chunky. my eyes were NOT pleased with something in the formula. And then... the flaking. EVERYWHERE. it came off easily enough but the flaking was a dealbreaker. I really wanted to love it, but at least it was only $23 and I don't feel like I wasted money.

Angry I Didn't Try it Sooner

I got a tiny little bottle of this as a sample and OH MY LAWD. My eyelashes are fine and blonde and my eyelids are oily. I struggle with mascara making my eyes look like the Statue of Liberty's crown. EVERY prestige mascara I've EVER tried was awful. Too thick, too wet, too clumpy... I couldn't find ONE that I liked. THEN... the heavens opened and bestowed upon us Bad Gal Bang. EVERY blonde eyelash gets it's own lil black dress. No spidering. no clumping. No smearing. NO FLAKING. I can't say ENOUGH good things. (obviously.)
