I really wanted to love it, I really did
I was so excited when I saw this palette. I thought it was innovative and so beautiful. Alas when I got it I was very disappointed.
I got this palette as an all in one palette. As an eyeshadow palette it works beautifully...BUT as a face palette not so much. I loved the pink/apricot pigment and I wanted to use it on my cheeks. I could not get it to show up for the life of me. I kept building and building and building and it just wouldn't. I also noticed that the color travelled where I didn't want it to. Now, I have HIGH respect for Hindash, I love his work, I'm an artist myself, I went to school for it and I thought "Finally, a palette made by a true artist".
Unless I got a dud, if you use this as a face palette it will work for you if you need a super light wash of color. If you like your blush to be pigmented as I do (because my skin seems to eat blushes) then don't get it. As mentioned as an eyeshadow palette it is beautiful, but I'm not going to reach for this when I have Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath.
Stuuuuunning! I am so glad I looted this one! I watched YouTubers tear down this palette, until I found Paulina Beauty. This is her favorite palette. The more she used it the more I wanted it. When it went on sale for Black Friday, it was a no brainer. I can do very soft shimmering fairy tale looks with this one or smokier and sultrier looks. I haven’t used the glitters, I tend to skip using them, but this is a beauty! Gonna have fun with it for sure!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FOUNDATION!!!
This is a holy grail for me, and I can't believe I've waited this long to try is...Wayne Goss raves about it, Samantha Ravendhal says it's her holy grail and it makes total sense. This is a great foundation if you want to look like you're lit from within. No it's not full coverage, yes, you'll have things peeking through, but believe me if you have mature skin this is it. I'm approaching my 40s, my skin gets pretty rough in the winter. I have combo skin with a propensity to drier skin during the winter months. Because I have olive undertones my skin tends to look a little sickly, so this foundation just magically takes that off, it makes me so radiant and glow-y but never greasy or shimmery. If you're like me, I think you'll love this. Thanks Natasha, you are the best!
