Works but isn't a miracle
I bought this product about two months ago. I was halfway through the bottle before I noticed a significant difference in the fine lines under my eyes. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through the bottle now and have started noticing that the fine lines on my forehead looked reduced, however I'm unsure if that's because of this product or because of one of the other products I'm using. I will probably repurchase.
I like it
This is a decent face oil. It's on the thicker side though, so I only use it at night. I've been using it whenever my skin seems irritated since it's supposed to be calming, and have experienced no breakouts from it. For some reason the scent reminds me of horses.
Decent
This stuff is a LOT gentler than a regular unbuffered 30% glycolic acid peel, probably because of all the extra ingredients. So if you're a newbie who's planning on trying straight chemical peels in the future, don't expect them to be as gentle as this one, even if it's the same percentage. With regular chemical peels you also have to neutralize the peel afterwards, which is not something you have to do with this one. Based off of the percentage I was a little confused as to why it said you could leave it on for 10 minutes and use it twice a week, but after using it I see why.
This product is pretty good at helping clear up breakouts and minimizing the appearance of pores. It did not irritate or sting my skin at all, but I'm also used to using stronger peels.
I like it and have reordered
I thought the texture of this product was going to be a LOT worse than it was because of all the complaints I read. It does have a very mild, grainy texture to it, but it's not anywhere near as bad as a lot of reviews make it seem. If your face is damp beforehand, it sinks in faster with less graininess, but it's also more likely to sting, unless you're used to it. It took a couple of weeks to get used to, and I still don't use it every day, but I do like the brightening effect it has on my skin. It's also very effective for lightening any hyperpigmentation you have anywhere on your body. And, to top it off, the price is extremely affordable for such an effective vitamin c product.
