Lipstick...
It's an experience! it's certainly not something I want to apply just once or twice a day!
Applying lipstick to me is a sexy thing. It's girly, it's feminine and it's even alluring. Coupled with elegant packaging the act of applying it reminds me of how luxurious it feels to dab on a perfume extrait from a gorgeous crystal falcon. I don't want to be rushed, I don't want it dry and flat and I surely don't want to be told where I can and where I cannot put it on because it's supposedly not savvy.
So no matter the what the trend, no matter the style, the rage or craze, in terms of cosmetics, I'll most likely take the road less traveled while marching to the beat of my own drum and staying true to myself in the process. Whoever comes up with these trends (ultra matte lipstick for instance) makes me sigh at times, but the real crime, the real sadness is when the masses follow suit like sheep in a herd.
