Beauty Product Reviews

Pictures to help understand the size of the brush.

Please add these photos to my previous review. I thought I could edit it. This will help to show how large the brush is compared to another brow brush.

Great crease brush that blends shadow effortlessly.

I always have trouble blending shadow in the deepest part of my crease with rounded brushes. There always seemed to be a line of skin that didn’t have that much shadow on it. I saw this brush and thought it may help. It works very well. I haven’t had a brush that has deposited and blended so well for my crease. I am very happy I purchased it. I am sure the pointed tip makes a huge difference. I was worried the point of contact would have more product and be darker but it blended evenly. The feel of the brush is nice in my hand. I also bought the brow brush and highly recommend it. I am going to buy the smaller eye shadow brush now too even though I don’t need more makeup brushes!

Great large brow brush

I did not need another brow brush but this seemed interesting to me since it was larger than most brow brushes. I love it. I feel I can draw a line on the top and bottom of my brows quicker and straighter. It fills in my brows with the product evenly. It worked well with gel and powder products. It gave me a natural looking enhanced brow. It also has a small handle which will make it good for travel. The brush has a luxury feel to it.

Beautiful Palette

The Dolce Vita palette has four colors that go great together. I have light skin and blue eyes. The second "Enhance" shade is my favorite. I would say it is a red brown brick color with subtle copper shimmer. Definitely a more unique color. The formula is very easy to work with and does not take a lot to build. You can work a day look or a fun night out with no problem. The pop shade goes on easy with your finger and really compliments all the shades.

Disappointed in formula of shadows.

I use a lot of CT products and love them. Unfortunately, not this palette. I do not believe these are the same quality as her shadow quads. While the concept is great, four looks in one palette, the shadows just don't blend well and some have very little pigment. It takes a long time to get a decent color pay out. I agree with other reviewers that most of the shimmers look the same on the eye. The shimmers also don't transfer well even when I use my finger to apply. I think the design of the palette is very nice and don't have a problem with it being a little light since it makes it easier to travel. And I did notice the smell. If this palette was $30 I would keep it. But at $75, one expects the shadows to be high quality. I'm going to return and purchase another one of her quads.
