Beauty Product Reviews

Am I doing something wrong?

I bought this product as something to just throw on very quickly before work. However, on most days it looks extremely dry and on good days it doesn’t will last throughout my whole shift. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I try to use different primers to see what works and what doesn’t but it all seems to look and last about the same.

Clumpy

I’m a ride or die fan for the Benefit Give Me Brow but I decided to try this one since the Charlotte Tilbury brand is one of my favorites. However, this one was extremely clumpy and left clumps on my brow hairs and got pigment on my skin and then stained it for the whole day. Very disappointed.

The disappointment is REAL.

I purchased this after I saw Jamie Genevieve rave about it. However, I was super disappointed in this product. Not only did it make me look insanely dry (I looked scaly like a snake) but it also didn’t give me any type of “glow” or help with any of my redness. I was so unsure of what this product was actually supposed to do so I just ended up returning it. Super disappointed.

Am I doing something wrong??

This is my first Jeffree Star highlighter and I'm so confused. Everybody always says how buttery and smooth his highlighters are but the one I got is super chunky and rough. I tried to apply it with my fingers (because I was on my way to work and didn't have a brush) and the product just kept building up on my finger and not transferring to my face so I could only imagine how much harder it would be with a brush? So far I'm not very pleased with this product.

THIS. EYELINER. THO.

So I was (WAS) a hardcore, ride or die fan of the MAC gel eyeliner in Blacktrack because it didn't smudge on my hooded eyelids, it didn't smear and I could get beautiful crisp lines from it but I always felt like it wasn't the most pigmented eyeliner...but there's a new girl in town. I was nervous to try is because I tried it out on the back of my hand and it felt smudgey, which is a no-go for hooded lids, but I decided to go ahead and test it anyways doing my signature cat eye...I noticed a difference right away. The tiniest dip in the pot goes such a long way and doesn't leave streaks if you go over it too many times, like the MAC gel does sometimes. My boyfriend even noticed a difference. This is such a great eyeliner I can't wait to get more colors!

My fav's

These are my favorite lashes right now. I love them, they are super comfortable but they really pack a punch and compliment any type of look. Winged liner? No winged liner? She's got you. My only complaint would be how much the inner corner lacks. I have almond shaped eyes and i like to wear lashes that are more flared out on the ends and compliment my eyeshape. But boy did i have a hard time trying to figure out how to trim them down. I didn't want to cut just from the outer corner, because i would lose some one that flare. And I was afraid to trim too much from the inner corner and loose the gradual shape. But ladies, let me tell you, its OKAY to trim from the inner corner. I probably hung around and stared at them for a solid 2 days before deciding to trim a little bit from both sides. And because they're Velour lashes, they've lasted me fore three months and counting. Through red eyeliner, and glitter they're still going strong!
