Beauty Product Reviews

#1 liquid liner

For a long time I wouldn't let myself buy a $40 eyeliner. I'm so glad I finally did. It's the most precise, flexible liner I've ever used. I've run the gamut, from drug store liners to high-end. Felt tip, brush, pen, pot, you name it. This brush bristles are amazingly cohesive and allow for effortless detail. No pulling the delicate skin along the lid. The pigment is uniform and doesn't streak. It dries easily. The best of the best. A true pleasure to use.

Only con is that it made me a bit nervous to assemble, sans instructions. I thought I would break the cartridge, because there's a bit of resistance when replacing the brush head into the body of the pen. It worked, though!

This is the best eyeliner I've ever used, and I look forward to using it for years to come.

best I've ever used

I literally just now created my Beautylish profile after years of purchases — just so I can rave about this foundation. I have extraordinarily fair, dry skin. Every foundation tends to skew a touch too pink or orange on my pale skin. And the pigment, natural luminosity and creamy texture of this product made me smile the minute it landed on my face.

It's tacky, which I actually prefer in a foundation. My previous foundation was Armani, which I found a bit too watery but beautifully blendable. Then I moved to the Aucoin Sensual Enhancer, which is extremely time-consuming but has the tactile feel I prefer. Face Glow is a marriage of easily blendable, skin-perfecting pigment and a lighter weight than you would anticipate from such a tacky product.

10/10 recommend. Desert island product.
