So I've been looking for years for the perfect lipstick. I have found it. I had desperately been searching for a dupe of my favorite shade from Mac called "Viva Glam ||". I have never been able to find a replacement and the formula is God awful. It creases a pills and starts to irritate the sh*t out of me. I am not a fan of his liquid lips as mine are extremely dry living in a high desert terrain. Those pull up worse than anything I've ever seen and are absolutely not long wearing for me. However LA Celeb Skin is truly superb as it doesn't ball up on me and is matte yet not drying. I love purple undertones in my makeup and this definitely has it. Like I said it's matte, yet shockingly it adds a plumping effect to my lips. I'm just so in love I finally found my holy grail lipstick. God bless you Jeffree! Now I would like the bullet to be much denser and sturdier. I always feel like I'm a bout to break it when I gently twist up. I have no clue what this grainy nonsense is about.. Maybe it's like king tut where there was a huge batch that was jacked up? That could just have been an excuse though as it seems to still be occurring. I guess it's different on everyone but I am one hard to please extremely discerning about my makeup and I'm elated with this. I wonder if because it's vegan it's extremely sensitive to temperature or something and that could be why people are having issues? I'm worried with all the complaints it's going to be reformulated and won't be as amazing. I've noticed whenever you're dealing with vegan products their consistency can seem pretty unpredictable and I've yet to find one that has a very solid texture. Maybe if he just didn't make them vegan they'd be a lot more pleasant? He originally made this like 2 years ago and put it on the back burner and has been trying ever since to reformulated it to be vegan. I would love to get my hands on the original formula as I'm sure it would be flawless. If only he could turn mannequin and posh spice into lip ammunitions I'd be complete.
