Don’t see the beauty in this powder

I do not see the beauty in this powder. I feel like it looks chalky and seems to make my pores look bigger. It does control oil (for a bit) which is the reason for the three stars. But what’s up with the smell?! It is horrible! I can’t quite put my finger on it whether it smells like chemicals or it’s an ingredient that just went bad in the recipe?

If you are like me and are missing the first 1/4 inch of your eyebrows due to over plucking from the 90s you need this product!

If you are like me and are missing the first 1/4 inch of your eyebrows due to over plucking from the 90s you need this product. It will literally find tiny hairs you can’t see with your eyes and adds texture to your brow. I fill in my brows in with Anastasia Dip Brow first and go back in to create texture with this product. I also think it might be waterproof because it is a struggle to get it off sometimes. This is a good thing though. I wouldn’t want my eyebrows melting into my eyeball if I start sweating or am in the rain... losing an eyebrow when you least expect it can be traumatic and life-altering 😬.

No, no, no

I love most everything Charlotte Tillberry. I also love a glow. This product did make me glow but it emphasized texture which I do not have. It looked like it highlighted every hair follicle on my cheekbone which looked nasty. I’ve never seen a highlighter do this before. The first time I used this product I put it on as a primer. Big mistake. I have normal to dry skin but it felt like my make up was melting off all day. It felt very greasy under my foundation. Second time I used it I kept it to highlighting my cheekbones only. Still a no go. If anyone is trying to get away from a powder highlighter which can settle into fine lines I would recommend the RMS Beauty highlighters. They are beautiful and also keep your under eye moisturized without looking or feeling greasy.

Love, Love, Love

Finally an all in one pallet I can feel confident throwing into my bag and having everything I need. I can’t count the pallets I have that are missing “one thing”... a blush, a matte, a bronzer etc. The colors in this pallet are muted and pretty. I personally don’t want a pallet that “swatches well” only to look like a clown when I put it on my face. This pallet even has a mirror I like using to put on my makeup. Good job Charlotte.

So pretty

What a great color and great formula! Spell is a pinky brown that has some iridescence to it. Not an obvious way. Just very subtle. I have extremely sensitive skin and although this product has coconut oil it, it has not caused a breakout. I would say the lasting power of this product is 3 to 4 hours. It's not really an issue though because I will apply just a little bit more during the day. It looks really pretty on lips too.

Love. Love. Love.

I have no less than six concealers and my make up arsenal. I didn't want to make the plunge into a $70 concealer but took a chance. I could not be more satisfied with this purchase! The concealer is a medium coverage that sinks into your skin effortlessly. I use a beauty blender but I'm sure a finger would also work perfectly as well. It really does not crease and works well as an eye primer even though my eyelids are oily. It also has a very thin consistency that does not break up during the day. I noticed with thicker concealers such as LaMer or Charlotte Tilbury, both will almost immediately break up around my nose and inner corner of my eyes if I decide to "bake." I have baked with the By Terry concealer and this does not happen. A light dusting of powder under the eyes as well as the eyelids will set this concealer all day. In the oiler areas of my face (side of my nose, chin) I still will bake and have no problems with the concealer breaking up. On a side note, there are times when I'm sure most of us will look at our concealer and think that we need a little more. After powdering if you add more concealer to an area such as your under eye it will immediately cause caking and ruin your make up. I tried this with the By Terry and it did not happen. Even over the powder, the concealer melted right into my skin.

Easy, flawless and fun!

Charlotte Tilbury presents her make up as a romance novel. I won't lie, her excitement made me buy the product. Once I received the shipment (3days) I immediately put it on my face. I also watched her YouTube channel and observed Charlotte put the Golden Goddess onto countless models. It's really a full proof way to apply make up not to mention fun. I can't help but hear Charlott'es voice saying (British accent), "Darling, you look magical! " But in all honesty, from a consumer's point of view, her system is very easy to apply. And what I mean by easy is that all the colors are already there for you and already tested out together. There's no real thought process involved in completing your face. Along with my purchase of the golden goddess, I also ordered the face sculpting kit. All together it's a hefty price but I swear I feel so glamorous once I put it on. If you watch her YouTube channel you will see ways in which you can make the look for every day, night time and what she calls "disco." I don't care what my day looks like I always go for the full disco glam! And even with a "disco" day I don't look too made up. I can't wait to try the rocker chick look!
