Beauty Product Reviews

Yes Please!

Let's state the obvious, this skincare line is expensive! For a month, I read reviews, watched youtube videos, weighed the cost, etc. etc. I was finally ready to buy each item separately only to find they had all been packaged into a collection. An added benefit was the inclusion of the brush, which, if you do the math, you get for free.

I was thrilled to receive this beautifully packaged collectio, the accompanying bowl, as well as a handwritten note from Beautylish a few days after ordering and decided that Sunday would be the day to try the products.

For my mask I used one tablespoon of the problem solver, one teaspoon of the honey mud, and enough water to fully mix the two. I do believe I was a bit lucky, as I didn't have the runniness often seen on YouTube. But I did end up with enough product mixed for two face masks so I will alter my recipe next week. The mask did tingle, I didn't feel any of the burning reported in reviews but I'm guessing the honey mud had something to do with the lack of burning sensation.

After scaring my dog, I relaxed on the sofa with a knitting project and Ride Along 2 on the television. As the mask dried it tightened, but remained comfortable. It smelled absolutely wonderful. Fifty minutes later, I took a shower and rinsed the mask off. Immediately I noticed a difference in the feel of my skin. My face looked clean and refreshed. I damped my skin and patted some of the blue cocoon all over the face and down my neck. As directed I focused on application around my eyes.

As a first impression this collection is truly wonderful. I have dry skin, my night time routine usually includes a beauty oil and a moisturizer, tonight however I think the mask and blue cocoon are all of the hydration my skin needs. I am looking forward to sharing with my mom and will definitely repurchase.
