Funnily enough, I've been in a huge beauty rut lately.. and then I realized I had been wearing neutrals on my eyes for, well, forever. I absolutely LOVE neutrals, and they're just so easy to work with. This was actually a bit of a step out of my comfort zone, with eyebrows and colourful shadow. I'm wearing all colours from my line, Swagger Cosmetics. Eyes: Swagger, Inglot black gel liner (falling less and less in love with it daily, honestly) Cheeks: Mix of lolipop blush in Pink + Golden Rose Lips: Lolipop gloss in pink

I wore this last weekend to SF fashion week, which was actually pretty fun! I have been really digging the vampy look for fall, and I wasn't the only one! Everywhere I looked there were girls rocking deep lips. I typically wear (bright) red, hot pink, orange, or nude on my lips, so this is definitely a different look for me. My lipstick is a little bit smudged because I took this at the end of the night. I also almost never wear black hair, but I've been really enjoying it with this look! I wanted to go for a no-eyebrow glitter cat eye look like I usually do, but have it different than usual. I drew dots under each eye, and had a different pattern for each eye to give it both a unique look, as well as make it easier for application since I didn't have to worry about symmetry.

If you can't tell, I love cat eyes. LOVE. They work the best with my facial features and eye shape, but today I wanted to go really over the top. I call this my super villan look, because the cat eyes are so exaggerated that it almost looks like a mask! it's hard to tell with this photo, but the cat eye is actually a gradient from a deep midnight blue (Westside from my line Swagger Cosmetics) to black. I paired this with vampy lips (hello fall!) and a peachy pink cheek. With my all black wardrobe though, I felt like I looked like I was in a war against happiness, but I guess that's a side effect that I'm willing to deal with.

I know, I only ever do cat eyes, because I find them the most flattering my my face + eye shape, as well as my style. I wanted to do something different though, and decided to go for a completely shadowless look and just have graphic liner. You can't see it too well but I also drew a couple lines under my eye on the right, just for fun. I took this at the end of the night so you can see some smudging on the left, probably from my sunglasses, but overall it held up pretty well! The lips is just a gloss I whipped up (but isn't for sale) with loose nyx glitter all over it. Another typical day look for me, though here I'm wearing three pairs of lashes (usually I only wear one, at least during the day). I don't know how I got my camera to make my skin look so good, but I would love for it to do that again! I look quite young with the exaggerated lashes, exposed freckles and this eye shape, and the lack of eyebrows gives it a strange feel, which is why I call this my alien baby look.

This is a slightly more colourful version of my regular day look. I don't draw on brows very often, but when I do I prefer to have them in colour. I like the combination here of the pink brows, lips and cheeks. This shape of cat eye is also my favourite, and I find it very flattering for my eye shape.

I'm really obsessed with what I call "fashion gore," a mix between beauty and blood. I love SFX makeup and I'd love to see it in more daily makeup wear. That doesn't mean I want or expect everyone to want to wear blood casually, but there are definitely many other applications of SFX makeup that I think can be applicable for beauty makeup. Many pro/theatre brands of foundations/concealers work better than beauty brands, and you can always work light prosthetics to your advantage... More cheekbones, anyone?

I look like I'm made out of plastic here! This is a very single look, with just regular black liner, lashes, light blush and a hot pink lip. The entire focus of this look are on just the pink things!

It's hard to tell in this picture I guess, but if you look closely I have a larger crease because I put a row of lashes on my lid where I wanted my crease, which in turn gave me the appearance of larger eyes. I also extended the bottom of my eye with white liner, and the outer corners with more lashes. I'm wearing 4 pairs of lashes here because of all the extra ones! This was a very uncomfortable look, but I did love how it turned out.
