Gentle & Brightening

I have not used this longterm and just got it but so far, I do love it like everything else from GM. I made everyone in my house try it and we all do find it is quite brightening & cleansing. I love that you can make this exfoliation your way. I personally only use chemical exfoliators because I do not like the idea of maybe micro-tearing my skin.

I bought this because I want a cleanser that I could doctor my way on days where I didn't want a deep exfoliation (aka in the morning to prep for AM serums). For my preferences, I add a teaspoon of this to my hand and a good healthy amount of water so that the cleanser becomes more milky rather than thick paste and I love it that way. It is such a gentle cleanse & not really deep exfoliating but brightening for me. My significant other liked it thicker for his blackheads but for me, I wanted it for a gentle cleanser & it definitely delivers on that plus all the added benefits.

I noticed no redness or irritation upon use & liked that my face didn't feel super tight afterward. It was noticeably very calm & bright and I could not be happier. For the price, it is a winner & I know it will definitely last a long while.

It only gets 4/5 because I wish when the powder dissolved into either the paste (with less water) or milk when I add more water, it would be a bit velvetier. The granules dont completely dissolve and is a bit chunky but they arent sharp/irritating to the skin. Overall, awesome cleanser for the price, amount, packaging & ingredients. Definitely worth a try vs. other powder cleansers that are 2-3x the cost.

Love at first use!

There arent many products I love at first use. However, this niacinamide serum & the GM Hyaluronic acid serum are. I absolutely love how quickly this serum sinks into the skin & calms my skin. I noticed that my acne redness calmed down and my skin's texture & softness improved over 3 applications. I think this niacinamide & hyaluronic acid will be my daily AM skincare staples from now on. I couldn't be happier. I also got the GM toner so in a few days I will also try them together and see how I like everything layered. For now, this serum is a must if you have texture or just in need of some renewed skin. Also for the price, the transparency of the product/packaging/ingredients & being fragrance free, I am floored and absolutely in love with GM. It has replaced all my other skincare. I will never pay for any stupid expensive treatment/serums again.

Nice Addition for Hydration During Winter

In general, I am not an oil person.... at all. I have tried a few and they always feel heavy and my skin tends to freak out. However, because I am falling in love with just about every product GM makes, I had to give one oil a try and I decided on Rosehip since it is nourishing & had some antiaging benefits. For my preferences, I do not add much of this oil, I use maybe 2 drops for my whole face after a few GM serums and a serum moisturizer, and it has made my skin plump & glowy. I love that it is lightweight & has no color plus it is scent-free. I don't particularly smell anything so that makes me super happy. I think once I smell something, I will know the oil is expired so yay.

I also find this oil awesome to add to my hands after some hand cream. It has helped with the dryness from the constant handwashing we do now. So, even if I don't need it in the summers when I am not as parched skin-wise, I love it for my hands anyway. I may also try it on the ends of hair since I hear it's always good for that.

Overall, I am not sure if its vitamin A strength will do much in the long run but for hydration for my dry skin, I have liked it to boost my other moisturizers that just aren't hydrating enough it seems this winter.

I don't think this oil is necessary to add to your skincare regiment but if you are in need of an extra boost of hydration, I think it's great to have (especially in cold, dry climates). I went from a humid environment to a dry one so my skin probably needs more stuff than an average person but at GM's prices, I cannot complain & I love adding new things to my routine. It's a spa day twice a day at my house. I find it's just something nice to do for myself before I tackle the day & then reward myself at the end of it.

Today's routine: Some GM pineapple cleanser with a healthy dose of water (so it is gentler in the AM since I usually treat at night so I want to handle my skin delicately in the AM); followed by the GM brightening toner, GM Hyaluronic acid, Dr. Ceramidin liquid, this rosehip oil & sunscreen (if I am leaving the house). I have yet to find the perfect sunscreen. GM PLEASE MAKE A SUNSCREEN by next summer please, please, please!

Dry skin peeps, rejoice!

When I was younger, I used to think I was combo skin. As I grew up and discovered certain skincare, I realized I actually had super parched-dry skin and I had been just not treating it right. For a long time, I always used Dr. Jart's ceramidin cream. It continues to be my Holy Grail moisturizer. However, once I moved from a humid environment to a dry one, it just did not seem to cut it anymore. Before I would wake up with nice silk-moist skin and now, it felt like I did not even wear moisturizer before bed. I tried soooo many recommended products for parched skin only to get breakout after breakout or wake up feeling super greasy which led to more breakouts. Finally, enter my last-ditch effort with Good Molecule's hyaluronic acid. I had previously tried other products with hyaluronic acid in it and they never got along well with my sensitive skin. But being that my skin was getting very dry & sad as fall came along, I took the plunge. For the money, it seemed worth it and if it didn't work, it could go on my neck.

It has been a week and I. AM. SOLD. I love this serum. I love that it doesnt make my skin feel greasy, just silky. It is not dry with texture, just silky soft (not oily). I do not think I have ever felt my skin this happy. I still pair this with my Dr. Jart ceramidin cream because I just have dry skin and I need to but I love them together. It is such a wonderful power duo. If you do not have super dry skin, you could maybe use this alone or paired with your daily SPF (which I would rec) but for me and my needs, it is paired and I honestly havent had better skin. I do think even if you dont have super dry skin, I think this is a great serum to add to your routine because after all the washing + the fall-winter coming, everyone's skin could probably use some extra TLC. Plus, you may also want it for your neck too. I think this would also pair super well under your primer before makeup too. Given that it has made my skin silky smooth, I have started to use less foundation too!

I also apply this serum alone to the top of my hands and it has made them so silky smooth as well & less parched from all the hand sanitizer we use during COVID nowadays. I love, love this product. I am honestly super grateful for Good Molecules. I love their formulations and I like that there are no frills & extra ingredients/perfumes added that do nothing. Everything is thoughtful and every ingredient has a purpose. I am so happy with it that I intend to try some more products slowly as I begin to transition over.

As of right now, my skincare routine is: Farmacy green clean (i will try the GM version when it runs out) GM's overnight exfoliator serum (I will be purchasing the daily one since this only used 2-3 times a week) GM hyaluronic acid Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream and my skin is a dream. I use a daily sunscreen from Dr. Jart or Bioderma when I actually leave the house and they all work great. I am so happy with my skin. Thank you Good Molecules for making awesome products at a super wonderful price. I cant believe my skincare regiment is under $100 and has never looked better.

An absolute bang for your buck exfoliator.

I have been a loyal Dr. Dennis Gross alpha-beta peel user because it just works for my skin when it used to be super cranky. However, given its high price & wanting to find an alternative without denatured alcohol, I decided to give the Good Molecules overnight exfoliator a try.

My verdict, it is amazing and I am soooo happy to find a new alternative that uses what I deem "good alcohols" for the skin (aka propanediol). It does sting a bit upon application (like most AHA/BHA products), but it quickly goes away. It feels a bit sticky at first but I let it work its magic for a few minutes then follow up with GM's hyaluronic acid (which is also a dream product for my dry skin). You probably may not need the hyaluronic acid since this product already has it but for my dry skin, I always follow up with it plus Dr. Jart's ceramidin cream to seal all my skincare goodness in.

I apply this overnight exfoliator maybe 2-3 times a week and every time I have, i wake up with brighter skin with way smaller pores. Plus, my skin just feels like silk. I think the combo with the extra hyaluronic acid helps with the extra silkiness but I am definitely not going without this product. At the price, for the effectiveness, and not causing my sensitive skin to react, I am a good molecules convert. I think for the money and the limited amount of ingredients, this is definitely worth a try. If you are sensitive to acids, maybe use a gentle toner first to prep your skin then add this exfoliator on top. Or spot test because everyone's skin is different but so far, of the products I have tried, I am super happy. I think good molecules is very thoughtful with their formulations and I am so happy I took the plunge. Amazing skincare doesnt need to be expensive, just work and this definitely does for me.
