Expected it to be much softer

I was ready (and excited) to feel the surpreme softness that people rave about when they talk about this brush. I never felt it. The brush is nowhere near as soft as Wayne's other brushes (I own the 02, 11 and 14) and doesn't compare to my Hakus. It's not scratchy per se but it does feel like a generic Sephora/mid-tier natural haired brush. I can't use this to pat or "pack" powder anywhere on my face because the bristles arent that soft. I can only use it to sweep bronzer on. Maybe I got a bad one?

Performs decently - but packaging/presentation is a letdown

Let's be honest - are any of us really buying this because the product is good? As a strobe junkie, I have a lot of highlighters that swatch and perform beautifully. I wanted this one because the packaging looked luxe and gorgeous - something I could display on my vanity and use as a treat. For that reason, it is a serious letdown. First of all, it is TINY. About the size of a lithium battery. To me this feels flimsy and cheap, because the packaging is made out of cardboard. Seriously - cardboard. I'm a little aghast that Charlotte would actually allow something made out of cardboard into her product lineup. This does swatch nicely, but it's ultimately just a standard gold toned highlighter. Yes it's finely milled, but nothing special. If you missed this one, don't worry - you didn't miss much.
