Glam but natural
I can definitely relate to the reviewer above on the struggle to find false lashes for anyone with incredibly short lashes naturally. The issue with wearing a longer upper lash when you have nonexistent lashes is that there is such a length discrepancy with your lower lashes that it never looks believable. This only matters if you're looking for something more natural but still miles better than the sparse, stubby lashes you've got. In my 20s, I had no problem wearing longer, more dramatic lashes, but maybe with age, I find myself enjoying more natural makeup that enhances my features. All of a sudden, I noticed how long my beloved Lily Lashes looked on me. I was even using the styles Luxe and Paris, which were already the less dramatic of the bunch. I still love those for a night out, but for family gatherings or more formal occasions, I felt self-conscious with the way my top lashes just stuck out so much more than the bottom ones, and this is even more obvious in my 3/4 or profile view. I have worn Ardells in the past and still have some on hand, but really looking for something that has tapered tips and a more fluffy, wispy look. The Ardells just weren't doing it for me when I wanted something more glam but still natural. This lash is fluffy and full, yet much shorter than most styles out there. The band is thicker than Ardells, which usually has a thin clear band. But I almost prefer the thicker black band as it helps to blend into my black liner and make it even bolder. With this type of lash, I would recommend pulling off the excess glue with your fingernail, taking care not to rip the band itself. Velour does make the Lash Clean, which is a makeup remover that is safe on false lashes and extensions. Even though these last quite a few wears, I'm gonna buy a few more as backups and will be trying the Plant Fibre Lash from this same brand in the style Second Nature next. Hopefully, they'll be as perfect as these!
Gorgeous
This lashes are amazing. Super light and fluffy. I have almond shape eyes and the lashes seem a little small but still look amazing.
OMG...I love these!!!
I kinda feel like Velour Lashes are going to be my fave brand for lashes!!! i've been searching for the perfect thickness and length and these are truly THE BEST thus far. now keep in mind it's a single pair and it doesn't include adhesive but i can atleast get 10 uses out of 'em if not more, well worth the price...plus they come in a sweet case to keep 'em fresh and ready to wear ;)
Love! I always reach for synthetic, have never worn mink lashes before but now I can never go back! They’re so soft and they look beautiful. They look short and natural in the photo but they’re quite long, not too voluminous that you can’t see your eyeshadow though! 4 stars because they are slightly uncomfortable to wear
Beautifly sinful is correct.
These are the most gorgeous lashes i have ever worn. The description about the product is absolutely perfect. It conveys exactly how these lashes make me feel. Flirty. Sexy. Love to bat my lashes at anyone when I'm wearing these. Very easy to put on as well!!
Horrible
Purchased these because of two reasons: the name of the style "Are Those Real?", which would imply they're pretty natural looking. They definitely aren't if you have short Asian lashes like I do. Can't really fault them for that because it's not their fault for me being born with the most pathetic excuse for lashes. And second reason because they were a longer use pair than my go to of Ardells. When I received them, I loved the softness of the lashes, but didn't think they looked any better than my Ardells. I immediately noticed that the band was thicker, which I assumed contributed to it being able to be used more than 20 times.
Now the reasons for the one star review. They are ridiculously uncomfortable. Maybe it's my almond eye shape or the fact that the band is so thick. I wore them twice and I couldn't close my eyes with them on because the ends would dig into my eyes. Even with my eyes open, I could always "feel" the band, in an annoying way. Almost like I had something in my eyes. Which leads to another reason why I couldn't stand them. Because the band is so thick a lot of glue adhered to the surface and so much of it was left on the band after taking them off. When I would try to gently pull off the remaining glue at the end of the night, which was Duo eyelash glue, a couple strands of the lashes were pulled off. So I immediately tried a gentler alternative of putting eye makeup remover on the band. When I did this, the lashes just completely came off the band. Almost like my eye makeup remover melted the adhesive that kept the mink strands attached to the band! They didn't come with specific care instructions, other then to remove all remaining glue off after each use. I threw these away after TWO uses! What a waste of money! Never purchasing these again.
Far exceed anything else I've tried!
Let me start by first saying I'm not so great at applying false lashes, I'm still a newbie! However, I did find these easier to apply, they felt much lighter on and looked far more natural to any other falsies I've ever tried. I can't wait to order more
