This amazing palette consists of 12 beautiful shadows that make wearing nudes fun! These satiny smooth colors can be applied naturally "i.e. let me slip into something more comfortable" or beautifully layered. The wide range of naked neutrals gives you light highlighters as well as brazen bold shades that work to add definition and emphasis. Nude 'Tude allows you to dramatically dress up your eyes (if nothing else)! Shadow/Liner Brush Included!
There is nothing more perfect than a Retro Vanity or in this case a Retro style "Naughty" Or "Nice" Palette! TheBalm has done it again with this perfection mix of shimmers & matte eyeshadow palette that's worth every penny! I purchased the "Naughty" Palette with the nude pinups for $36 on TheBalm website! I'm seriously obsessed with it now, Here's why:
-ADORABLE super thin palette with great size mirror on the inside, duo shadow/liner brush included which is an ok brush
-Choice of 2 inside designs, A Retro Naughty or Nice theme. all shadows are the same regardless of which printed palette you get
-All shadow names start with S, Clever i think!!
-Double Thick Cardboard Palette, with a Sleeve. I'm not sure why i kept the sleeve, its a pain but i always put it back on haha!
-12 square pan eyeshadows. 8-Glitter/shimmer colors 4-Matte colors
-The 4 matte colors are Medium brown(sultry), Reddish brown(sexy), Deep Brown(sleek), & Jet Black(serious) which i LOVE! I'm so glad the mattes are everyday basics!
-Compact, easy to thrown in a medium size makeup bag for touch ups, traveling or over night stays.
-High pigmentation, Very blendable & buildable shadows. Can all be used wet or dry. The more shimmery shadows tend to be a tad bit Chalky & have more fallout during application but that's ok with me! Just wipe away!
-Long-lasting coverage, but i always use with a base! Sassy or Stand-offish are perfect as Highlighters for the face as well!
-Located Online on Thebalm website with super fast shipping & samples!
This is a great alternative to The Naked Palettes by Urban Decay (not comparable as fair as colors/textures), I was quite disappointed by the new Naked 2 since it was way to similar to the original palette so i wont purchase it (maybe one day.. eh.) This palette has a light pink(stubborn) & Light true gold(snobby) which i thought was odd at first but grew to realize its perfect with the other hues & make this palette itself stand out even more!
I probably should hide this palette i love it so much and haven't put it down yet!! I for sure will hit pan on these shadows! I really wish TheBalm got more exposure because its such an amazing company & product! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Checking them out especially if your a vintage gal like me! You wont regret this purchase!
I love how versatile this palette is. It is not the standard nude colors we are used to in nude palettes. It has a gorgeous deep burgundy shade called sexy that is very unique. I love to use this shade in the outer v as a fun punch of color in a smokey look. You can make very natural looks to extremely dramatic depending on your mood. The shadows are VERY pigmented and most are very buttery. The quality of these shadows is right on par with highly held brands like Urban Decay. It is a cool based palette; so for those who like warmer colors, this may not be the palette for you. The packaging is adorable -- especially the naughty version.
the Balm's Nude Tude palette is my favorite neutral/natural eye shadow palette! I got this after I bought UD's NAKED palette and favored Nude Tude 9/10 when doing my makeup. There are so many nice colors that you can create many different looks with. Sassy is great highlighter shade! Stand-offish is another fabulous highlight shade too! I love to create a romantic eye by putting Stubborn on my lid then Selfish in my crease. Sultry is a great blending color which resembles UD'S Naked shade. One of my other favorite shades is Sexy! You can create so many different looks with this red/maroon color. Sexy and the gold shade Snobby make a wonderful combo! These eye shadows are very high quality and highly pigmented! I have never experienced any fallout with them and they are very smooth and apply easily!
First off, I'm a huge fan of palettes. I think buying individual eyeshadows is just so impractical, which is one of the reasons I bought this one! The other reasons being the hype and the great packaging! I love the colors [although I've been mostly using the lighter colors]. The pigments are great and even the brush is pretty good! [Don't you hate it when you buy makeup and the brush that comes with it is total $@!%??] I also like how thin it is so I can easily slip it into my purse and take it with me on the go! [the large mirror is also a big bonus!] Great product for anyone who loves neutral colors <3
I bought this on Hautelook and just received it in the mail today. I haven't used it yet but I'm already loving it. The palette comes with 12 different shadows, 5 which are matte. It comes with a double sided brush...one side is for eyeshadow and the other is for eyelining (angled brush). The palette is very thin with a large mirror and a magnetic cover. Overall I think the eyeshadow are kinda small but very pigmented. I paid $19 plus shipping.
I have tried alots of eyeshadow palettes but this is one of my favorites! Alots of pigments and it doesnt shade away after a day. Love it alot!
I got this for 50% discount and worth the money . The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and really nice . The mattes and shimmers give nice color pay off . Does not irritate my sensitive eyelid and make sure to blend this well . The double ended brush which comes together are a bit stiff and short which is quite useless . I keep it to tame my eyebrows . I love the big mirror it comes with and the packaging is super cute ! The eyeshadows last long too
Seriously on my top for nude palettes. TheBalm is so underrated, I haven't come across a product I haven't fallen in love with. This is no exception.
The formula: buttery, soft, not powdery or dry at all. Comparable formulas are Urban Decay, Wet n Wild and L'oreal Infallible.
The pigmentation: On point. You have to sometimes be careful to use a lighter hand w the dark shades to avoid muddiness.
The packaging: as with all of theBalm's products, super chic and cute. Diggin it :)
So I got this last XMAS and I'm still savoring my way through the palette. It is totally worth the hype and makes a great Nakeds substitute for cheaper! I love that you can make any eye look with this- you have lid/highlight/crease shades and some unexpected all over lid shades that are beautiful just on their own. The darker shades create the most, luxe, chocolately, luscious smokey eyes and one of my favorites uses for this palette is BROWS! I've used this more as a brow palette, its that great! I take the lighter brown for the base, the dark plum/red for the middle and the dark dark brown for the tail and it creates a sharp, defined brow, definitely perfect for a pin-up look! I like how you can create a pin-up look and endless other eye looks! I keep finding interesting nuances about the shadows- one has a bluish duochrome cast and the darker browns have glitter that actually sticks around on the lid! Plus, there are so many color combo ideas that you guys have just commented. I think this palette would be even better if it had a matte lid/h.l. shade, but that's what I have the Lorac Pro for! So, when I need a little luxe shimmer, this is my go-to. The pigmentation is amazing, the texture is silky smooth like butter and there is little fall out. My only regret is accidentally ordering the one without the little nudie shot bodies on the front! All in all this is a great palette and I need to use it more!
