LOVE this stuff!
I just think this tinted moisturizer is the best thing ever! I bought this on a whim, and I'm so glad that I did. The coverage is very good for a tinted moisturizer, it almost leans towards the foundation side. But that's why it's so great. You can also layer this without any cakey efffect at all (if you need extra coverage). I have severely sensitive eyes, and the smell of this does not bother me at all. A definite must have!
I love this tinted moisturizer!!! It has the perfect amount of coverage for a summery look. I use it a lot for day when I'm looking to get coverage quick, and it lasts a long time. The coverage is also buildable, so this product can be very versatile. Also, it is light and allows my very sensitive skin to breathe, and it has just the right amount of moisture.
This is one of the first tinted moisturizers I've used and I absolutely like it. It doesn't make my skin oily and it lasts a really long time. I even use extra moisturizer to sheer it out a bit, but it works fine by itself. It has a SLIGHT shimmer to it so I tend to use it more at night than during the bright of day. But no one has said anything to me about it during the day. It does give a very nice dewy texture and blends easily. I use it more for night time only because I tend to do powder for every day. But when I've worn it all day, it lasts all day. Definitely recommend this product.
This TM is super moisturizing and doesn't oxidize like a lot of others I've tried (with SPF). It does leave the face with a very dewy look, as Bibi said, so if you want to save the step of applying powder for a more subdued glow, this probably isn't for you. However, I find that this blends well and evens out my complexion. With a powder, my skin looks so healthy that I've gotten lots of compliments at work. I even got my mom to use it, and she is strictly a Guerlain and Cle de Peau devotee!
I bought this to use as a "healthy", quick everyday product. I like all the ingredients they DON'T put in. I don't hate it but I wish it dried down more than it does. It's weird that it's so wet, as my skin is dry if anything. I also use Physicians Formula TM and find it a lot more comfortable to wear. The Tarte is fine when set with powder but to me that defeats the purpose of a tinted moisturizer. I usually end up using my (current) HG foundation Estee Lauder DW. Even though I take longer to apply it (with the Beauty Blender), I don't have to set it so I cut out a step. I love my ELDW, but I'll continue searching for a healthier option. I'll use the Tarte til it's gone, but I won't repurchase.
Absolutely love this!
In MAC, I am an NC 35-40 and in Tarte's TM, I'm in Agent 14. First off, they have a wide range of colors of both pink & yellow undertones. It provides sheer coverage, but covers nonetheless. This TM evens out my skin & feels great on the skin. Although my acne scars aren't completely covered (I mean it IS a tinted moisturizer), they are definitely a little more disguised. There is shimmer (ever so slightly) but once it's on the face, it's not noticeable but does somehow brighten up my face. Application is nice, it's easy to blend, & looks natural. Normally I set it with a powder but you can definitely get away w/out it. :) Has SPF & is lightweight, so it's perfect for summer.
This is a must have for me! My skin is acne prone so for a while before discovering this brand, I was using foundation to cover acne and acne scars. I decided to try a tinted moisturizer and focus on clearing my skin. Once I started using this product, I noticed that my skin was looking much better. This TM helps keep my skin clear since it's formulated without all the bad stuff. It also has SPF which is very important and this is great for those with sensitive skin. It gives just the right amount of coverage I need. I haven't worn foundation for many many months :D This is a product that I would continue using and recommending. It's almost time for me to restock!
