Super soft but not for harder baked products

I got this after watching some online reviews as I was looking for my "go to" cream shadow brush. I have a couple of the eyes to mesmerize colours (Charlotte Tilbury) and a few of the Trinny London Eye2Eye pots. This brush worked very well with the CT formula which is like a whipped cream. It picks up and lays down well and blends very well in the crease. It actually has a lot of pick up power with that formula and you have to be careful not to start with too much product. The brush is SUPER soft but has the right amount of density to actually blend. I did find that it dragged my skin a little though. I have slightly hooded eyes and my eye area is small. This brush fits nicely in my crease and on my lids. Now when I tried this with the Trinny London formulas this just didn't perform. The TL formula is a harder cream and this brush just could not pick up the colour. I found my Zoeva cream blender was much better at pick up of that formula. So I still have to use my finger to apply the TL colours making this not my "go to" cream shadow brush.

Why didn't I get the set? Well, I have almost all Sonia G's brushes and after seeing helpful reviews only got this of the set as I already have the Detail brush from the Mini Keyaki set, I saw one review that the builder brush in this set applies a very sheer wash of colour (and I wanted something with more pick up power) and I don't need the jumbo worker from the set as I have other fusion brushes for cheeks etc. I'm happy that I didn't get the set as I really think this brush is all I need.

Multi-use Wonder!

I love the fusion brushes and have several for the face. The fusion eye worker packs on eye shadow (I use powder eye shadow) really well and gives a dreamy smooth and velvety finish. I find that I don't need to grab my usual finishers that smooth out my eye shadow....this one does it all! Plus, I really like it for placing creamy white highlights under my eyes in certain areas that need a little more oomph and lift after all over concealing. It especially does a nice job of lifting the outer corners of my eye to avoid droopiness. It's like this brush is able to chisel out a younger eye on me because of the firm bristles combined with the velvety soft edges and a tapered edge that gets into the nooks and crannies and can define and blur all at the same time!
