Classic Base

I use this with Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate contour/bronzer. I don’t like to use this with foundation, I didn’t love the blend. But for cream contour, it’s simply wow.

The shape works very well for applying concealer to eye area and blocking out / colour correcting dark circles. Soft bristles.

Don't get me wrong, I do really like this brush. Was surprised by the size. It looked a lot bigger in the website. It's just a tad too small for my liking.

If you love Sonia G and love a compact Foundation Brush for precision, you will absolutely love this brush! The bristles are compact and short enough that they don't absorb much product. Application goes on seamlessly allowing for perfect blending in the contours of your face. I do not see any visible brush streaks after use! Also the brush cleans and dries easily overnight, which is my referred method. I like to give my brushes time t dry thoroughly although have not tested drying time shorter than this. Absolutely love this brush and I plan to purchase more from the Sonia G collection!

This brush is simply perfect for a flawless application of both cream and liquid products. As with other brushes in the Sonia G range, the craftsmanship, design and functionality of this brush is first class.

The mix of undyed sokoho goat hair and synthetic bristles feels so soft and gentle on the skin, and blends both cream and liquid products effortlessly. The end results were flawless with both foundation and cream contour, there was no patchiness or streaks, just beautiful, even coverage that looks seamless.

I use this daily with my Charlotte tilbury pillow talk blush. Lays down the perfect amount of colour and blends beautifully. Highly recommended and hasn’t shed, although with natural brushes this would be expected so wouldn’t have bothered me it it had anyway. Really love the fusion brushes! They are just so super versatile.

This is an update to my prior review...changed from 3-stars to 5-stars. I recently started using the new Chanel No.1 foundation. I use it sparingly and the Classic Base blends it out beautifully. It works as well as it does with my Sisley tinted moisturizer. I have since found out that the Macrene Actives tinted moisturizer is meant to be used with fingers, so my previous review was not fair. This was my first Sonia G. brush and I now own two more (Lotus Worker and Soft Concealer). Every single one of them gets two big thumbs up from me!!

J'utilise ce Classic base principalement pour les blushs crèmes et certains bronzers crèmes ou liquides (gel radiant chantecaille, bronzer crème fenty...). Ce pinceau a changé ma façon de faire dans le sens où je gagne du temps le matin lorsque je me maquille à 5h35 !! J'ai juste à prélever la matière crème, je la pose et j'estompe en douceur en faisant de petits mouvements circulaires et c'est fini ! Le blush ou le bronzer est appliqué sans déplacer la matière dessous . Selon le produit il me suffit parfois de seulement tapoter la matière sur le visage. Avec ce pinceau il est impossible de rater le placement de son blush, son contour ou son bronzer par exemple. Car en plus d'appliquer la matière on a un côté flawless qui se dessine et aucune démarcation sur les bords. Je l'aime beaucoup. J'utilise la lingette en microfibre de Sonia G afin de réaliser moins de lavages du pinceau, ceci pour préserver les poils.

This is so good for cream blush, applies so naturally without any hint of patchiness. It does shed a little bit especially after the first wash, but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

It's great - it blends cream and liquid products like a dream. I have some relatively nice synthetic brushes that I no longer reach for in favor of this. I don't use it for full on liquid foundation though (sponge or BK), I use it with Sneaky Balm for areas I want sneaky coverage and to beautifully blend cream bronzers, contours and blush. It's fine for mineral powder coverage too if you're not doing a full face.
