About Sonia G. The Alpine Series ALP3

Sonia G. ALP3 features a sharp, precise tip supported by multiple layers of bristles. Although the bristles have plenty of flexibility, the tip remains incredibly easy to control. You can place it exactly where you need it—around the eyes, between the eyes and nose, or along the sides of the nose. While the tip flexes effortlessly, you can still feel exactly where it’s working, making navigating with precision surprisingly intuitive.

Why It's Special

Bristles are dyed grey with yashabushi dye—derived from the Japanese Green Alder, a small native Japanese tree used since ancient times. Each batch carries a consistent hue and softness; future batches will carry their own natural variation
Yashabushi dye adds body and strength to soft saikoho goat hair, elevating performance without sacrificing feel
The handle transitions from black at the base through soft blue into light grey, with a subtle glistening finish—inspired by the layered winter palette of the Alps

Attached here are some photos of the Sonia G Alpine 3 brush that I received. It arrived to me like just like that. I don’t know how I feel about the separated bristles. It really is disappointing. Would it hurt to put the brush itslef in its own small little box instead of just wrapping it in a black paper? I can’t believe I paid $78 for this!

Great powder and highlight brush

This brush appeared larger in person than I expected but it was a pleasant surprise. It is not too big and not a small brush. I mainly use it for powder application on the center of my face. Due to the shape it is perfectly going around the eyebrows, nose and lips. It is really really soft and fluffy. I really enjoy it. Adding some comparisons from my collection

One of a kind

Love the brush. Can be used in so many ways, love it for blush and highlighter. Precise, fluffy and not putting down so much product. Had to treat me with a backup, too good for sure. Lovely to add to my collection.

A unique brush, collector’s delight.

Bought the 4 brushes individually, and felt in love with each one. A great Mother’s Day gift from my kids. The ALP3 is one of a kind brush. So soft and it’s shape is unique (at least to me) this brush runs evenly on the smallest areas of the face. Deposits powder evenly and gently. Perfect for the under eye area and can be use to place blush, highlighter, bronzer, contour, etc. Multitasker brush with flawless airbrush application. All brushes are soft and the craftsmanship is superb.
