Acid Fix

I decided to try this after using Good Genes by Sunday Riley. I liked the effect lactic acid had on my skin, but Good Genes was way too strong for me. I read reviews on this on several different websites and took the plunge.

I use this every two nights and my acne has been getting better and my flakey skin is nonexistent. (This is the only exfoliant, chemical or physical, that I'm using.) I haven't been using it long enough to see a difference with any fine lines yet.

I'd recommend trying it if you're curious, especially with Beautylish's customer service and return policy.

I was really excited to try this and hoped it would work as well for me as a similar product made by a different company, (Drunk Elephant, TLC Baby Facial). I hope I’m not incorrectly associating the two products, but I believe both aim for similar results. Unlike the TLC Facial, the Acid Fix didn’t really deliver. My didn’t do much more than break out.

I have oily skin. This is too moisturizing for me i got acne when I use it for a week. How I wish it works for me.

I used one bottle over two months. I used it exclusively at night with nothing else on my skin. It has taken away some age/sun spots from the side of my face and given me an overall more youthful appearance. It dried out the skin on my nose a bit (just had to peel it off a couple of times), but nothing major. The rest of my skin is plumped up and dewy. I don't even need to wear foundation everyday because it has evened out my tone and taken away the occasional blemish. This line "Omorovicza" is very expensive, but after trying this product, I just reordered it and their Diamond Eye Cream ($235!!!). I will review that product too. I think none of us worry about how much money we spend on our skincare IF THE PRODUCT WORKS AND WE SEE CHANGES. I saw dramatic changes after just a couple of weeks. I am 46 years old and age is starting to show on my face. I have been so delighted with this product. I wish I had taken a "before" photo!!

I was a bit skeptical of this blend initially just because the total percentage total of about 10% acid seems quite strong. I decided to give it a try since the AHA I was using before was already drying out my skin too much- so what's the worse that can happen right? I was surprised when I consistently woke up to smooth, hydrated and clear skin. The glycolic percentage is 8.4%, lactic at 0.94% and 0.5% for BHA (salicylic acid) is a nice balance of what's required to refine and exfoliate the skin without drying it out. It has hyaluronic acid which pulls moisture into the skin. The scent is a natural lime extract which I don't mind at all. I alternate this serum with a retinol at night time only. You CAN use this during the day but the lime extract will make the skin a little more photosensitive so use SPF.
