Awesome!
I absolutely love this stuff! One of my favourite black lipsticks, for sure. I scrubbed my lips with Lush Lip Scrub first, then applied Kate Moss Rimmel London Lip Balm (which I love as well). After waiting a few minutes, I applied this and honestly, it's amazing. Very silky and matte. I find that it can be drying if you don't use lip balm, though. Overall, really great product. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because it's not a "holy grail" type product.
Great Color, Interesting Texture
I got this product due to hearing about OCC all the time. I love this color and consistency. It took me a long time to really understand how to use this product. You don't need a lot, only a little. I don't like the brush that came with it. I think personally that the brush could be better quality. Overall I love the product and will buy more in the future.
Amazing color, long lasting
I have never used a lip tar before, and my God does the color last forever. With only a centimeter of product, I nearly covered my lips with bright, pigmented goodness. The colors they have range from bright pink to bright blue to black, I mean you get whatever you want out of these lip tars. Great for everyday, or for costume play.
Gorrrrrrgeous unique shade
I like to later over top of another (probably matte-er colour) to really make it pop. It fares well by itself also though! Super unique beautiful lip colour. Just be careful when travelling with these--the entire contents of your bag will get dyed red if you're not careful :P use liner.
Less is more!
This product was tricky at first. I know it had been a cult favorite for some time, so I finally threw the money down to see what the buzz was about. I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed at first. I thought the formula was smudgy. I didn't care for the brush. Definitely did not find it worth the price tag for how messy of a product it was. Then, I actually learned how to use it. The age-old adage of "less is more" could not be more true when it comes to OCC Lip Tar. I lined with one drop, then filled in with one more drop. A quick pat, one more drop for the final coat, and voila! (Tip: use a light dusting of setting powder along the lip line to seal the deal.) After learning how to properly apply this product, my results were exponentially better. I love how the formula really doesn't dry out lips, and the minty smell is a major plus! I don't much care for the brush provided, but that's probably because my clunky are bad with tony objects. Overall, OCC Lip Tar is a 4 out of 5! Looking forward to trying more shades.
