The perfect kit

I got an NYX kit similar to this when I started out. It must have been a smaller one I got because I got the same things just fewer shades. It was the perfect starter kit. I got brush set, 3 foundations, bronzer, 3 blushes, 6 trio eyeshadows, eyeshadow primer, green concealer, eye pencils, lip pencils, 4 lipsticks, 3 glosses, 2 mascaras, 3 liquid liners, ooh and the glitter palette. There was probably other items but Ii can't think of them off the top of my head. It was the perfect set to get me started. I think the only things I had to add to it were translucent powder and face primer. All the NYX products are amazing that I got in it. Am not even hitting pan on any of the products yet. The colours are very vibrant and you only need to use small amounts. I think the mascara may be the only thing I had to replace because they ran out, the shadows etc I've had over a year and have lots left. Would highly recommend this kit for anyone that's starting out. It has a bit of everything and at least you can rest assured your getting quality products.

Cheaper Alternative

If you really need something to start out with, elf has a GREAT alternative. It comes with almost everything this has but it may be slightly lesser quality. I'm not sure. It's still not cheap at $150, but it's cheaper. The Master Set has everything you need. I'm 11 so I'm not an amazing source, but I hope the link helps. :)

Budget Savvy

I cannot afford to purchase expensive makeup. A few makeup lines that fit my budget are E.L.F., Coastal Scents, and BH cosmetics. Sonia Kashuk is also good. It's not real cheap, but also not too expensive. Her product line can be purchased at Target. I have also purchased makeup lots on EBAY. So stay within your budget. Unless you are a BIG BALLER... Again, whatever you can afford.
