I own almost all of the Eyeshadows and I Love Makeup geek products! The eyeshadows are so pigmented and they blend so beautifully. They are also very affordable at 6 dollars each and they are very comparable to mac if not better..
I love love this starter kit! It's the perfect combination of colors for a neutral eye or a smiley eye. The black color Corrupt, Omg! This is the blackest shadow I have ever used. I swatched my ARM with it and it stained! Cocoabear is great for deeper complexions who need a shade to add "warmth" to a look. If you are a makeup beginner, this is great for you, if you are more advanced, having these pigmented colors are essential to your collection.
I bought this starter kit on sale to see how it would be. I thought, 8 eyeshadows for 35.99 was a great deal! They're usually 5.99 each. Shipping was fast, I got it within 2-3 days from Michigan. As I was swatching each shadow, they felt very creamy although it is a powder product. The pigmentation alone impressed me! It only took one swipe and I literally thought it was going to stain my finger especially with Corrupt (Matte black). They are such a good investment especially for freelancers and even the pros. For the quality and the price, you really cannot go wrong!
I usually go for the creamy type of eye shadow, but I love Makeup Geek videos and I wanted to try out the product. So far they seem really nice. I think it is a little annoying that the shadow does not come in a palette and that it is extra, but that's how it works. It stayed on all day without a primer, blends pretty well.
