As a fan of the Twilight series, I was really happy when I got Femme Fatale lip gloss as a Christmas Present. I knew the packaging was nice from looking on the Twilight Beauty website, but I wasn't expecting the quality of the product to be as good as it was. I got it in 'Myth', and the applicator was very classy and provided good coverage, although I was a little confused at how to use the applicator to begin with, as most lipglosses are easy to apply without a mirror. I was nervous at how dark the colour appeared in the container, and I was also nervous about the sparkles. However, the colour was not as scarily dark as it appeared, but it was very dark and vampy- a fantastic going out look! It was very shimmery, but it didn't appear particularly glittery, which I consider a pro, but others may think of as a con. On the negative, the shade was not as flattering on my sister, so it may not be a shade that suits everyone. It felt very syrupy when you first applied it, but once applied it felt like Vaseline- lightweight and you could feel the amazing moisturising qualities working. It also banished the appearance of the natural lines of my lips, and it was highly pigmented, eliminating the need for a lip stick base. There is also a bonus of a pleasant coconut scent, although this is not accompanied with any detectable taste. The only real negative for me was that it wasn't long lasting. Although food and drink had little effect on it, the colour faded to a soft pink after about an hour, bearing in mind that I do have one of those faces that Makeup doesn't like to stay on - other reviews claimed it stayed on for up to 3 hours, so maybe this is specific to me only. However, I definitely would and have recommended this to a friend, as I love the packaging, colour, scent and feel of the lipgloss.
