Beautiful shades
Very beautiful shades with a lot of pigment I was just shocked at how “unwearable” these are on a daily basis, better for nights. I really like the pink and purple shades and the silver in this palette.
Dreamy
Today as companies like mac throw sheer blushes in a palette and charge premium prices for how the color looks in the pan, I always trust JS for highly pigmented, blendable, creative shadows at "regular people" prices. This palette does not disappoint.
Exciting new jawbreaker
I haven't even gotten around to use my jawbreaker palette yet and everyone was comparing these two. Saying why they wouldn't buy this one because jawbreaker is basically the same. But it's all random crazy colors so I don't agree. I was comparing the two palettes side by side. They do have some very different shades and again my addiction, my collection I needed it. I can't wait to play with it.
Breathtaking, Intense & Fun !
This collection dropped and the carnival on acid theme spoke to me and i was not at all expecting the quality and tones this palette has, i can whole heartily say, this shadow formula in this palette is by far his best, the mix of textures and colors are superb! The shade "carnival tattoo" is my favorite, its a blue/greenish matte with sparkles its creamy and blended like a dream, every color is great and gives you tons of options, for multiple fun colorful looks! p.s. The outer packaging is so so cool, never seen anything like it ! xoxo
Beautiful color story
I love this palette. The one and only thing I’ve noticed is the top row tears of joy shimmer shadow is oddly powdery. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be this way but I was surprised how loose it actually was when I went to go try it out. I use my finger for these shadows as they apply better that way and usually it’s a creamier texture with this brand. This was literally powder and even a gentle swab of the finger lifted quite a bit up from the pan that I actually had to press it back down. So be careful with those shadows!
Beautiful
I'm so happy with this palette! The color story is right up my alley. The mattes are pigmented and blendable though some do stain (I just use a makeup balm, cleansing oil or micellar water to remove) which is typical for these type of shades. I love the shimmers and feel Tears of joy (silver with multi color sparkles) and In the Forest (light green) are pretty unique to my large collection. I only use my finger to apply shimmers so can't speak to how they work with a brush. I also usually apply to a tacky base otherwise you may have some glitter fall out through the day. Hope to continue to see more colorful shadows from JSC in the future, like maybe some neons
Mattes ok , shimmers not great
The few mattes in the palette are ok and are the usual formula, however the shimmers have issues. The shimmer shades have a crumbling sheer fallout action and you need glitter glue and without something sticky they don't perform on their own properly. I was not wowed by this palette and the color story is off. Returned.
