Hydrating Glitz Lip Balm

I wanted 4 shades but bought 2 just to test out the formula first. I was hoping that the shades I bought (Secretly Sweet/Candygasm) had a little bit of pigment so as to lightly nude out the lips but I fully expected them to show up as clear/invisible. I was so pleasantly surprised that they have a light amount of color and the glitter is an overspray!

The shades are sheer with just enough that you can differentiate the colors and build it up to lightly nude out the lips but not enough that you would have to pair it with a lipliner to make it work (I am a fair, cool skin tone for reference).

The smell is light and sweet and the formula is great; hydrating without too much slip or glossiness. I will be buying backups because finding semi-sheer pastel nudes is almost impossible for whatever reason! Lastly, the attention to detail on the packaging and product itself is amazing!

This lippie is okay. Color is lovely and it’s moisturizing; but product is soft and broke upon application. I had the same problem with another one too. I notified JS customer service to report and return both tubes. Customer Service wasn’t helpful. I was having some problems with the return and wound up keeping both. I wouldn’t buy again.

If you’re a JSC lover, then you’re already aware of the quality of his lip products. His packaging and color stories really tend to set him apart and his balms really aren’t any different. Putting the balm in the traditional bullet applicator was a really good call!

Let's be honest , this is cute but not very hydrating & I wish it was magnetic like the velvet trap. Cheap but cute.

Upon receiving it, I was immediately pleased with the packaging! Never seen anything like this before. I love the glitter element to it, feels glamorous but not tacky. I expected very little colour payoff as per the photos shown on the website, however, to my pleasant surprise, you do get a fair bit of colour on your lips. To me, I find that it resembles more of a sheer lipstick rather than a tinted lip balm in terms of colour pay off.

The formula is great - hydrating, comfortable, lightweight. Doesn’t last all day obviously but i did have a bit of colour left on my lips after eating and drinking.

The glitter in the formula is very very subtle. If I want more glitter on my lips, I need to apply at least 3 coats. It does look like there is a lot of glitter but upon applying it, you will see it isn’t the case.

I will repurchase more of these - they are perfect to wear anywhere for any occasion.

Not sure why most reviews are positive and only a few are also stating the lipstick snaps of easily. I’m disappointed because these lip balms are super cute! I was also looking forward to the caramel scent but there’s no scent to it. Hopefully it was just a bad batch 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love the shade. But after a few uses, it snaps right out of the applicator. This is the second one too. I've already had it replaced once

It's deliciously smooth and hydrating for the lips. A wash of color and a bit of sparkle… perfection

I’ve only just received this lip balm and although it feels nice, it snapped after just 3 light uses. I am so disappointed that they cost $16 and have next to no stability.

I got Hopeful for me and Pink Roses for my daughter. We both love JSC lip glosses and lip balms. These are not as colored as they look. They are hydrating and not heavy on the lips. I was worried about the glitter on the outside. It's not as intense as it seems. I highly recommend!
