Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint

This was ok and looked fine for a tinted face product but it wasn't anything more than that, didn't hide wrinkles or live up to the hype for the price.

This skin tint (although it's much closer to a light-medium foundation) is the best one for my skin. It covers, doesn't pill or get caught in any lines, and like most Hourglass products, gives you a great glow with no sparkle. I have dry skin. You only need to use a little product.

To say that I love this foundation would be an understatement. This product just blows me away! I have oily combo skin and tried HG Immaculate foundation first but I didn't like it too much because of its very matte finish. I was afraid to try Illusion because it is meant for dry skin but I am so glad that I did. This works so well on my skin type and looks and feels so natural. It is not a tint, this stuff gives great coverage. I don't even need concealer. I just use my fingers to apply over HG primer and finish it with a light dusting of setting powder. What I love most is how it helps to minimize my large pores. Other products would always settle into them. This was my first HG product and gateway drug to all things Hourglass :)

I should've known better...i bought shade golden tan previously and loved it and this time accidentally bought golden(too pale). I am an nc 40 right now(c 40 nc 38-nc40 works on my med tan olive skin). I love this product...its a repurchase and as long as they don't change formulation it will stay in my arsenal. Strongly rec. Great for normal-dry skin! Great solid medium plus coverage. 💕

I really thought I would love this for summer but nope. It was sticky, not the right color and did not blend in very well. It just sits on top of your skin. I had to wash this right off and go back to my other tints.

I was really interested in trying this out, as it ticked off all the boxes in what I like in a foundation. This is definitely not a "skin tint". It is a thicker consistency that I feel is medium to buildable/full coverage.

I have used this with several primers: I received a free sample of the BECCA First Light primer and it looked so radiant and so so beautiful and it lasted the whole day with this primer. I tried it with the Hourglass Veil Mineral primer and it looked just as beautiful as the BECCA. I tried with drugstore primers as well and I found it looked great with most any primer I tried.

I also apply this with a foundation brush and I find that works much better than the sponge. I find with a sponge, it seems to pick it up off my skin and not deposit it properly on my face. A brush is the way to go.

I have maturing, dry skin that can get combo in the summer.

My one sort of take away is that for me when I first put this on, it doesn't look wonderful for the first 5-10 minutes. I think once it warms up to my skin and gets "settled" on my skin so to speak, it just looks amazing. I also mix this with other foundations and it has helped those other foundations to look pretty on my skin.

This did not oxidize on me either. It is just really really beautiful. Totally worth the price.

I'm really on the fence with this product! First off, it's not a skin tint whatsoever. This is a medium to full coverage foundation. It's also a bit unpredictable. Some days it sits beautifully on my skin and I'm in love with it and other days it doesn't seem to want to cooperate at all, meaning it looks patchy in spots and doesn't blend right. I'm still trying to figure out the right primer and brush combo for this. Super moisturizing primers like Bobbi Brown's Face Base seem to be the best option. It's quite thick so lately I've been mixing it with other foundations that are more on the liquid side and that seems to work well. For $56 I wanted it to work on it's own without a lot of messing around so that's been disappointing. But because it does look beautiful when I get it right I'm not ready to give up just yet.

I am in looooove with this tinted moisturizer. It is a little thicker than what you would expect for a moisturizer but it goes on so smoothly, it lasts all day long and it feels like a dream on your skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this again and again.

I purchased this based on the great reviews from some of my favourite youtubers. They are right - this gives really good coverage and looks so beautiful on the skin. I have taken one star off because unfortunately it oxidises quite badly on my skin - so bad that at the end of the day my mom asked if I had picked the wrong foundation shade. I do notice from other reviews I've seen that most people do not experience any oxidation. For reference, I have normal to dry skin and my shade is between NC20 and NC25. Colour match is great when first applied but it probably has gone into NC30 when the day is done.

I returned this due to this factor alone (and I love Beautylish for its fuss-free return policy). Otherwise, highly recommend.

I love using this product on days that I don't want to wear a full coverage foundation. This is a weightless smooth flawless finish, I've used this product on my clients that have more mature skin and are looking just to even out their skin tone and add radiance to their skin. I prefer this over Any BB OR CC CREAM, if you're oily you're going to want to set this product with a very light layer of translucent powder (Laura Mercier ) to be exact just so that it doesn't take away from its beautiful finish. Hourglass is made with the best of the best ingridients that will not clog pores or cause breakouts, safe for sensitive skin and overall the perfect foundation for all skin types! A tiny bit of this product goes a really long wAy, and applied with a beauty blender will give the most perfect glowing skin! I HIGHLY recommend this product ESPECIALLY FOR SUMMER! Give it a shot ladies! Hourglass products are life!
