cushiony bouncy bronzer
I love this stuff. In the summer, it is a little yellowish on me (light, light/med - neutral), but the formula is lovely to work with and the effect is subtle deepening of tone that isn't powdery or shimmery, it's soft. I love that it doesn't smell. It does dry quickly so buff well right away as you do each area on your face.
Subtle or Chiseled Contour
Love this bronzer for marking out the shadows on my face! I can keep it light and diffused for a natural bronzed look or I can use a firmer hand and really define for a fierce contour. The cream doesn't disturb my foundation or concealer underneath. Since this is matte, I layer the Hourglass Ambient Bronzer on top for radiant golden bronze finish. I've also taken to using this as a cream shadow in my crease or as a base for a smokey eye!
Oh and a little goes a long way so the value is incredible.
So glad I branched out and gave this a shot.
Contour not bronzer
If you're on the NC45 scale this is too dark to be imagined as a bronzer (think Fenty's Espresso contour stick). As a contour, less is more as it is hyper pigmented. Using my trusty Wayne Goss 12 it blends out very easily but the colour is a tad muddy on my skin tone. It dries super fast so be prepared to work quickly. It does last ages once on and I'm sure once I get a bit of a tan I will reach for this more often.
