Lightwork V: I Am Palette

The colors are beautiful and very sparkly! However, they're are far more topper shades in this palette than I thought they're would be, particularly in the large middle section. I don't think I'd purchase again, just because I was hoping for opaque and metallic more than just pure sparkle and shift.

This palette is the best. I love everything about it. It is easy to use. You can use your fingers or a brush.

A nice set of shadows to play with, more for photography and artistic makeup than every day in my opinion. Some of the more sparkly shimmers can get flakey depending on the application method.

My first ever palette from Danesssa Myricks and boy it didn’t disappoint. I am a matte girlie but this is such a versatile and pretty palette with so many color options and finishes that I do find ways to incorporate in my makeup looks. A bit on the pricier side but worth it as I don’t think it has a lot of potential.

I received this palette in my Lucky Bag XL and instantly thought I couldn't use it. After staring at it for a few weeks, I finally gave it a shot and am pleasantly surprised at how wearable it really is. I use these shades exclusively on the lid or below the lower waterline for a pop of color and stick to neutral mattes for the crease and above. I haven't tried using them damp yet, but will give it a shot using setting spray on the brush for special occasions. They bring light to my mature eyes and are completely wearable when used with precision and moderation. Thanks, Beautylish!

As someone who has a large collection of eyeshadows, this palette really stands out. The formula is smooth and very reflective. I don’t have anything quite like it. The color selection is intriguing as they appear to be bold and colorful but once on the eyes can contribute to toned down looks. I must stress that for most, this palette is not a stand alone. Depending on your makeup style, you may have to reach for another palette if you must have mattes to work with.

This is definitely the most unique palette I have (in a quite big collection with Pat and Natasha as favourites)....this Danessa pallete definitely stands out. It can look quite intimidating at a first glance, but it is DEFINETELY wearable on a daily basis! And I got soo many compliments on my eye makeup when I used it! Simply love it!

This is a very pricy palette that’s a fact. We all can see that, the quality in my opinion is wort it. The shades, textures and quality of these are on par with the top indie shadows in my collection. I also appreciate that the majority of the shades/tones weren’t something I already possessed. I did not do a price breakdown per shade as I did her last shadow palette that turned out to be very reasonable. All I can provide is that for an indie lover and “special shade” lover, these shadows are wonderful!
