Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector

Treatment not a concealor!

Clinique designed this product in the Fall of 2012. It is a treatment for dark circles under the eyes caused by stress, allergies, and even environmental causes. This is however not a solution for those who have hereditary dark circles (they were born with them). This is a very common mistake! Clinique claims you can receive 30% reduction of dark circles by applying this twice a day.

They utilized light-optic technology to assist with catching and scattering the light that hits your under eye area which helps it appear lighter while the long-term treatment is taking place. It however does not act as a concealor. If you don't have very bad dark circles or you don't normally wear makeup and you just want something to help make them a bit lighter as you treat them, then this can be used alone. My suggestion would be to use it with a concealer.

Because it is a treatment it is best used under your eye cream and makeup with your concealer applied over the top.

This really can work for those that just have dark circles from allergies or stress but for those who were born with them it will do nothing more then an under eye illuminator will do for you. 30% reduction isn't high enough of a reduction for most people to fork over the $39.50 (at time of review) it costs.

If it is your biggest concern then give it a try and see how it works for you. For me, I used it before I found out that it doesn't really help with hereditary dark circles and so it didn't help me much. Some people I know swear by this. It was alright for what it did for me.

brightens

i do not see this working as a treatment, more as an instant brightening priming cream. it definitely makes your eyes look less dark by giving them a moisturized look but it does not cover anything, works good under makeup.

great product

At this moment it is one of my favorite eye creams. It feels very smooth and light, kind of like a primer. You can apply make up and concealer over it ant it doesn't crease.
