Amazing!!!
I like to have a foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly. Usually once I find one I like I stick to it. I was using Smash Box Studio Skin. I did like this product but it didn't give me the full coverage I wanted. I decided to treat myself and take the plunge into investing in a new foundation & I'm glad I did. The colour matches me skin perfectly. It's so light weight but yet gives the full coverage I wanted. Don't think I'll change foundation now!
Not worth it
I bought this for my formal and was highly disappointed. I live in Australia and this foundation set me back 90 dollars. Coverage is not what it claims to be. it also has the same texture as sunscreen and settles into pores and lines. I dont think that this foundation is worth the money.
Not my fav
I love Chanel's foundations but that one... a miss for me. If you have dry skin that foundation is not for you. I advice that foundation more for people who have an oily/combination skin. But the problem with oily skin is that that foundation oxidizes badly. I advice you to pick up a shade lighter that you would normally use. You need a really good moisturized skin to be able to work with that foundation because it sets very fast. It doesn't last all day at all and it clogged my pores badly. If you have mature skin that foundation is not for you either, it will show up your wrinkles and fine lines a lot. I wish I could love that foundation but it's just not the case. The only nice thing to me is the way it photographs and look on camera but that is all.
The name says it all...perfection!
When I first bought this I was hesitating returning it or keeping it. I read many reviews about oxidation so I was afraid to keep it and be unsatisfied with it. I ended up keeping it and I haven't had ANY problems with it. I've only tried a couple of foundations before this one but I think this is one of the best out there. It's super creamy and it gives you coverage making your skin look flawless NOT cacky or oily. It's definitely worth it because a little goes a long way and the pump lets you control how much product you want to use (unlike other foundations with sucky pumps) . If you are unsure about it then stop by the Chanel counter and get a sample...I've had nothing but good experiences with their sales reps. This is somewhat sheer but still gives good coverage and it's smells like roses (love the smell). The only downside is that it's kinda pricey...$55. I think it's def. worth it. I was matched perfectly! I am a 32 beige rose.
Love it
I was hearing a lot of good reviews on the Pro Lumiere foundation but I wasn't quick enough to pick it up. The guy at the counter told me that Perfection Lumiere was the replacement. I bought it right as soon as it launched. The only blunder was that the girl matching me up was a little lazy. She gave me 34 Beige Ambre which looked good at the store. I loved how it looked in the morning but later on I realized that it oxidized and that it wasn't even my match. It was about a shade and a half too dark (if there is such a thing). Aside from this, she pumped way too much product into her hands and unscrewed the cap of the demo bottle and scraped it off her hand back into the bottle! Talk about unsanitary. Anyway, I canvassed different counters searching for my perfect match and taking home different samples. I finally exchanged my darker one for a 40 Beige which is a perfect match. I wear an NC35 in studio fix and #128 in MUFE HD, so go figure if you are familiar. I absolutely love how this looks. It wears nicely throughout the day and having oily skin, I have the predisposition to always set my liquids with powder but with this I really don't have to. I love how it smells (super clean and crisp scent I wish they had a perfume that smelled like that!). The only thing aside from the price is that you have to blend in small areas otherwise it will dry fast. I don't mind that at all and the best application is with your fingers. One pump is all you need!
