Burt's Bees

Rejuvenating Lip Balm with Acai Berry

My current favourite lip balm. The only thing is, the scent. It doesn't smell bad, per say, but it doesn't smell good, either. My tube does say that it has acai in it. Maybe that's the just the scent of acai, I don't know, I've never smelled it.

My current go to lip balm

This is one of my most used BB's lip balms. Love the scent and taste, cute packaging, easy to carrry around/store, lasts for ages, gives a cute sheen to the lips, is moisturizing and of course, like all the other Burt's Bees products, is eco friendly, natural, and cruelty- free. I love how the caps always represent the color of an ingredient within the balm. I think at present, I own all of the lip shimmers, own a few balms, but don't have them all. The only downside is that these are pricey, but the value is worth it because you're investing in a cool brand that cares about its clientele and the earth/animals.

i really couldn't tell you when i started using chapstick, but by high school, i realized i was addicted. my lips got dry & chapped if i didn't use it for a few HOURS. i swooped up a 4 pack of the burt's bees balms at ulta after Christmas this past year for $5. i don't know how long it took for me to realize one day...i hadn't used chapstick in weeks! i actually found myself NOT freaking out if i couldn't find any lip balm. i actually bought an extra set as a backup online & have them stored away if i ever go through the

it's not the greatest for moisturizing your lips, but they do work well! we all know burt's bees is great because they're natural & furry friendly, but they come in a variety of flavors & needs (moisturizing, medicated, SPF, etc) so you know there's one out there for you! i don't even own chapstick anymore, i just grab a random burt's bees lip balm every morning on my way out the door!

An environmental alternative to moisturize your lips.

There’s a lot to like about the Burt’s Bees brand. They don’t test on animals, use natural ingredients, and part of its packaging comes from recycled material. This lip balm in particular contains several ingredients beneficial to the lips. I love that they also take the time to print out the actual ingredients on the packaging. More companies need to do the same. The smell is pleasant but not overpowering. The question for me is, does this product hydrate my lips any better than other products. Unfortunately, I find myself reapplying often. I love what the company stands for and I’m willing to spend a slightly elevated price just for that. I also realize that the actual functioning of the product isn’t that much better than other brands.
