Miracle in a bottle!
I will always use this brand and this exact balm for my family, as this has saved my nephew's skin! My nephew suffers greatly from eczema and allergies, so much so that some soaps have caused chemical burns on his hands and intense dryness on his skin. The Atoderm Intensive Balm has been a lifesaver for him. The first time I purchased a bottle, I was not sure if it would be helpful for him and his issues, but upon first use, it was a game changer for him. It is such a thick but comfortable formula and really coats the skin for deep moisture retention. We owe so much to Bioderma for creating products that truly work and help with skin issues. Amazing brand with amazing products!
Fast acting
I use this Intensive Balm on irritated stretch mark areas, (tummy and upper arms.) It works very well to keep the itching at bay, while losing weight. It works immediately, it doesn't have any fragrance, its just good, and fast acting. I don't use it for the rest of my body, just the problem areas. I would say if it doesn't work with one application, add another, but I always use extra lotion, when applying so that the area is well moisturized.
I like it but...
This stuff does calm down my itchiness, but it takes awhile to absorb which is not the worst thing. Strangely for the first time this winter after using this for a couple days, i woke w flaky dry legs!? So not super hydrating. I am using it after shower but only on bottom of legs where i itch the most, and my other super hydrating lotion in rotation
