Highly Pigmented Fun Colors
BE makes great shadows that are highly pigmented and are not at all chalky. You have to have a delicate hand with them because they are loose powder and do have fall out when applying. Make sure you remember the BE cardinal rules of SWIRL and TAP before applying. I usually foil my colors for ease of application.
The Only Shadows I Buy
I use Bare Escentuals eyeshadows exclusively. I mean literally, exclusively. I've tried so many other brands in my life and now I just refuse to waste my money on anything else, (especially overpriced brands like Urban Decay where the FIRST ingredient is talc, ugh.) I have tons of BE shadows and each one goes on flawlessly smooth, blends incredibly easily and with a primer of course, stays on until I wash it off. I love these shadows; great for my sensitive skin, gorgeous colors and very flexible in terms of being able to tap and mix colors together to create custom shades, you can apply them wet as eyeliners, go for a sheer wash of color or pat over primer for full coverage. You get a ton for $13; I've yet to even fully use up one pot because there's so much in one. Absolutely perfect.
Really Awesome Colors!
I love Bare Escentuals Eye Shadows! I have many...lol. The color is totally build-able! They can be messy, but it is worth it! You can use them dry or wet (foiling) as shadow, liner, blush or you can dip your fave chapstick into them and you now have a lipstick *not all colors would look good;)lol.*! They are the most versatile make-up! Plus they will last a REALLY long time! If you are looking to try one, I suggest Celestine it is one of my most favorite colors in the line! BEautiful!
Bare minerals loose pigment eyeshadows are my favorite shadows to use. The color pay off is excellent, you can use a little for a subtle look or built it up for a more glamorous look. I have had my first of their shadows for 5 years, they last forever. The only negative thing I can say about it is there is some fall out. Besides that I would recommend these shadows to everyone.
Great Loose Shadow
I never thought I would enjoy using a loose shadow. For me, it seemed far too messy and too much work. These little guys proved me wrong. For one, they are amazingly pigmented and they are surprisingly easy to work with. They will last me FOREVER because you barely need any to get a great amount of color. Obviously, because they are loose (if you use them dry) there will be some fallout but all you have to do to correct that is wet the brush first.
