I'm not to good at describing scents but i don't think it smells like coconut at all a bit of the sea perhaps, it does smell really good and a little goes along way makes your foot feel soft .It absorbs very well and any roughness goes away immediately but after a half an hour (if so much) the roughness and dryness comes back its a waste of money.
