Easy eye look
I have both Temper and Defiance sets. They are a bit similar but both look great on my skin and flatter brown eyes. They are both very easy to blend and they don't look smudgy if my eyes water. Packaging is nice and heavy, which feels luxurious. The mirror is very cute.
Gorgeous color - topper a bit patchy
Though the deep, dirty olive color is absolutely gorgeous, the mousse part seems a bit dried out even though I’ve been keeping the little topper on it AND screwing the lid on tightly. I put my finger in to get some out of the pot and the entire product came out of the packaging into my hand.
The powder product on top goes on pretty patchy as well. Given the rave reviews for this very expensive product, I wonder if this is just not a fresh product? Surely something priced like this should perform better than this does?
10/10
Formula for the cream part is completely identical to the old Tom Ford cream shadow, which speaks to the quality in my opinion. So easy to blend out and a tiny bit goes a long way. The shimmer shadow is more of a topper than a regular shadow but the cream part more than makes it up for me.
Perfect green and really nice shimmer
The shimmer is probably my top 2 out of all I tried, with top 1 being palladium from terra moons. The green is also perfection as it's the first green that matches the green of my hazel eyes perfectly.
It also lasts pretty well and noticed only minimal creasing (but all eyeshadows crease on my eyes, so it performed really well compared to many others, even compared to cream Charlotte Tilbury and some pressed Natasha Denona ones).
Great for any occasion
I appreciate the versatility of cream shadows but not every brand gets the formula right. The Auric formula is right up there with MAC and Tom Ford (sadly seems to be discontinued?) for me. Very easy to work with and doesn't crease with all day wear.
