Beauty Product Reviews

Not my favorite, but good enough.

My favorite mascaras shift between the "Bad Gal" mascara from Benefit and the "Full Exposure" from Smashbow (they have the same brush, go figure lol). When I tried this, I had such HIGH expectations that I let myself down. I feel that if I gave it a real shot, I would have adored it; however, I feel that there are always other options for mascara.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Pros: -Nice length & volume -Holds a decent curl -Long-wear -No flaking!

Cons: -Hard to remove

Consistency: -The formula is not entirely wet, nor dry, so I find it incredibly easy to work with; yet, when on my lashes, I feel that they become so crusty feeling (I prefer natural feeling lashes).

Hype (Is it worth it?): -Maybe. Depends on what you're looking for, honestly.

Primer Potion is less than what I expected.

I feel like EVERYONE uses the potion in any shade nowadays! The hype is rather irritating for me because I tried this long ago and wanted so desperately to love it, which I had myself convinced I did; however, upon working at Ulta, I've discovered that I prefer the Shadow Insureance by Too Faced or even the Smashbox primer.

UPDD REVIEW: Pros: -Long-lasting (about 7 hrs for my oily lids) -Shadows are slightly more vibrant -Enhances shimmers (Original) and enhances mattes (Eden) -Multiple Formulas for every skin type

Cons: -Not long-lasting enough! I work sometimes 8 hrs a day in a cosmetic store, so I need my shadow to last even long when I go to school. -I found my shadows more pigmented/vibrant with other primers. -Three out of their four shades aren't suitable for my lids.

Consistency: -UDPPs usually are very creamy, more on the wet side, and are a dream to blend! I find that because it is a bit thinner than other primers, my oily lids rarely ever get good use out of it, however.

Hype (Is it worth it?): -No. Other products in my opinion are much better.
