Don't tease with this -- it does not help!

I felt that this was a mediocre mascara. The one thing it really has going for it is it's super black pigmentation. I have no other mascara that is as black. It is, however, a mascara that should not be put on using the "teasing" method. It needs to be put on slowly and not layered on too much. But putting it on this way does not give me the look I want. It is no better than any other drugstore mascara in my opinion and definitely not worth the price. I compared it to many other mascaras that I own and found that L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes was the closest I have to the look this product gives when putting on a couple coats of each. The L'oreal one does not clump like the Benefit's and gives a much cleaner look. So for those of you who can't just wear just one coat of mascara, this probably isn't the one for you. It dries pretty quickly on the lashes and gets clumpy when you try to put on more. It makes them bold and dramatic because of the dark color, but up close, they just looked thick and spidery to me. I wanted to love this mascara -- but sadly, do not :( (in the picture, the Benefit is on the left and L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes is on the right)
