Hey there, my name is Myriam Cyr, I am 20 years old and MimiiAmor is my MUA name :), I work as a primary make-up artist for Lise Watier (**Hoping to get on the LW S.W.A.T team!), i'm also a part time cosmetician at Jean-Coutu ( used to be full time ). I've done plenty of fashion shows, gala's etc.. (if you wanna know more about me and my makeup life... JUST ASK :D.)

I'm your typical small town gal, with a great success story! Making it in this world to me is all thanks to the laws of attraction aswell as my ongoing support system. Its all about putting yourself out there... hello HERE I AM :D

Makeup artistry is my passion, and their is still SO much to learn about it... this website = BLISS to me.... I look forward to connecting with everyone and sharing tips!

How did you make it to where you are today?

I've got to say that my strong sens of ambition is definitely, what brought me here today. I was always keeping updated as much as possible with the beautiful world of cosmetics, always looking for opportunities and always trying to achieve more. It all started when I used to play with dolls and barbies, and has become a whole process of metamorphosis. I consider myself like a small flower in this world.

So theirs the seed, but i'm not going to get into that.... cause that would mean talking about....... well yeah. MENTAL IMAGE NOT COOOOOOL!

I started at my roots, so my supportive family who's always been there, my sister whos always let me do her make-up, my friends who always encourage me through think and thin..

Afterwards my roots turned into a stub, I grew out of my shell to expose myself to the world. So I made the hard decision to leave my small town behind to move to the Nations capital, OTTAWA where i attended La Cité Collégiale in the Esthetics program. So as this went on my stub grew as my knowledge grew.

Once I graduated my flower bud was created.

I landed a job right away as a full time cosmetician at Jean-Coutu (MY FIRST RETAIL JOB, which i rock at btw) ... I have a lot to thank to this job as they are SO great to me. :) and here i go starting to bloom and to show my hidden wonders.

One day at my work, a rep from Lise Watier showed up and was talking to my head cosmetician. She was talking about an open MUA job for the company... Right away *BING* light turned on in my head... i was going to land this job... no questions asked. Heres where i put in play the laws of attraction, i thought long and hard about this position and how much i could see myself in it. Tweeted about it facebooked, tumblr EVERYTHING. One day i had a twitter mention (which hardly ever happens) and as i checked it already my colours were showing. i'm sure my face turned blush.. I have @LiseWatier and @ChelseaChute4LW have been tweeting me good luck msg's on my application to the job. WOW WOW WOW i was i ever in a mood of pure extacy... Then the next thing i know the regional rep @NatalieGore had tweeted me that she would like me to send her my resumé directly and if I was available in the next few days to meet with her about the position. AHH! i was happier then a child on christmas day..

Finally I had met with Natalie. little did i know, she was already ready to hire me, i kept answering her question trying to rock my interview only for her to tell me 'so i knew i was going to hire you before i came into tim hortons (this is where my intervew was).... all i remember was tears filling up my eyes, I WAS SO JOYFUL! so happy... here i am now... and couldn't be happier! and i hope the happiness never stops. More and more everyday i keep blooming into this beautiful blue eyed forget me not flower... :) Smallest most beautiful flower the world has.
