Beauty Product Reviews

"Sheer Envy Primer" great way to start face makeup application!

Applying this is the first step to my face painting regiment. It has a greasy feel with application, but it dries velvety smooth. It never evened out my skin like it says, but it did reduce shine and did in fact help with foundation blending and coverage!

Definitely a favorite!

I have to say this is my favorite pressed powder. It's a translucent enough powder that doesn't leave you looking like a pale ghost, but provides a great amount of coverage over foundation or if you just want a quick cover up for that unwanted shininess from oily skin. And it doesn't make me break out! Love this! I am just so sad it's now discontinued!!!

"Supernova" great pigmentation, but messy.

A neat smokey purple color that is nicely pigmented. The glitter I could do without though, for it's pretty chunky and loose and makes a mess. But the color is awesome!

Awesome coverage, but product life isn't very long.

After my favorite CG concealer was discontinued, I gave this baby a try. I loved it, the coverage was amazing with it's thick smooth formula, and a little went a long way. I have dark circles under my eyes (even after a well night's rest) so this was perfect for me! However, after having it my possession for several months, I had to throw it out. The product had separated and became really greasy.

Great coverage.

The brightener is too runny and takes awhile to dry. Once it does dry, I don't really notice any change. But I do like the concealer. Goes on nice and heavy and is really blendable. I love the coverage which is a big deal to me because I have real dark circles under my eyes, and this baby really gets the job done!

"Honey" tasted great, application was impossible.

When I first purchased this, I loved how soft the brush was, and the powder smelled and tasted great. Unfortunately when dispensed, the powder would literally just fall out between the bristles, I could never get it applied to the skin for that sparkly glow! Sad to say, but sand could stick to your skin better than this!

"Jezebel" color payoff is amazing, but made my lips burn.

I was excited when I first bought this lip crayon. The color was gorgeous and very pigmented, but the glitter made it really gritty. When applied, it actually made my lips hurt real bad with the sensation of burning. Such a disappointment because the color was so pretty!

A must-have for lip gloss addicts!

I have these in Fireball, Gorgeous and Fairy, and I love all three! They give a nice tint of color while moisturizing and it doesn't rub off as easily as some glosses do. They smell nice and taste good too! Kind of like cupcakes! The glitter in them don't leave a gritty feeling on your lips which is a plus, and I think the only thing I don't like is it's a little sticky. And the wand is a bit too big, but other than that these are great!
